Folk is a neighborhood restaurant on Meridian Street in East Nashville. Chef and owner Philip Krajeck, who also opened Rolf and Daughters and Junior, cooks from what local farms are growing, so the menu changes with the season. Expect vegetable dishes, naturally leavened pizzas, and large format plates made for sharing. The bar pours natural wine, craft beer, and cocktails, and Apero Hour runs daily from 5:00 to 6:00. Dinner is served seven nights a week, with bar seats for walk ins, a patio in good weather, and street parking on Meridian. Food & Wine named Folk's clam pie one of the 27 best pizzas in America in 2026.

    Beautiful space, great food and wine (and other beverages), terrific service. It was a little loud, but not as overwhelming as some places I have been recently, and when we complained about being cold, the server turned it down the AC a little. The lounge areas are very inviting – would love to go back just for drinks and appetizers.

    Sitting at the chef's counter when I am solo dining is a great way to spend the night and it was absolutely fantastic here. The food was delicious and my server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and how to support me choosing my food based on my preferences.

    Absolutely amazing experience!!!!! I told them it was our anniversary and they made it so special. They picked the best spot of the restaurant for us and very attentive service.

    We hadn’t eaten at Bonefish Grill for a while. Received a coupon for a free enter in the mail so we decided to try it again. It was delicious!! From the cocktails to the appetizers to the main course- everything was excellent. Our server was also fantastic!! We will definitely go back soon😊
