Excellent restaurant I return again and again. Great way to spend the evening before heading to a show at Olme Theatre center.

We've been here many times and service and food were always good. This was our first time visiting on a Friday and we were disappointed by both the food and the service. The servers we've had were usually attentive, even when the restaurant was busy. But on this night our sever was just not with us. We saw her checking on other tables and then leave the room, ignoring us. We usually enjoy our meals here, but this visit was just not up to the same level. The main course pastas and the cocktails were not enjoyable. I could blame it on it being a busy night, but it's been packed every other time we've visited previously and it was never disappointing. We'll give it one more shot and if we get the same experience then we'll probably call it quits.

I would’ve left a four start review, but my friend and I were seated next to what seemed to be an engagement party in the middle of the dining area. The people were drinking and yelling and carrying on. I could barely hear my friend, who was seated right next to me, and we were practically yelling to each other. The food and service were great, but this loud, obnoxious group of people made the meal much less pleasant. It’s a 40 minute drive to Salt & Vine from where I live. I’ll have to think about whether I want to go back. Disappointing experience.

Everything pretty much great except the orange cake was dry and there was some loud banging on the walls from some furniture being moved or something

The food was pretty good, but I would really recommend having some lighter menu options. Portion sizes were gargantuan and tended to be very greasy and salty. The salad on my egg dish was excellent, but the potatoes could’ve killed an elephant between the salt and fat. One dining companion absolutely loved his French toast, which looked like half a loaf of bread which was then filled with cream (glad I didn’t order that), and my other dining companion said the pancetta was too fatty and salty, but the eggs were good. Good coffee. Very loud. Prompt service. And for some reason, check in when we arrive is always oddly complicated.
