We were thrilled to find this coffee/bake shop on our stay in Okotoks for a sports event. The coffees are perfect. We hadn't decided where we would go for dinner that Sunday, but to our surprise we saw a poster in the shop advertising the Togetherings dinner for that eve. To our delight there had been a cancellation and there were 2 seats available! We met lovely local people that added to our experience. 4 out of 5 for the food, as I needed to add salt to everything. 4 out of 5 on the value, as we found the wine and Americanos that we ordered with our meal to be on the pricey side. Your ideas.of the Togetherings dinners has inspired me with your desire for bringing Community together. EVERYTHING was truly outstanding. Absolutely loved the quaint setting, right down to the location on Elma street. Oh my gosh, I'm looking for any reason to go to Okotoks now so I can visit French 50 Bakery!!

The food was very good and our server was great! We went for my birthday supper. However, since the restaurant is small and our table was close to the door and right along the aisle, it was at times noisy and drafty. People standing next to us waiting for their table, people going in and out to pick up pizza, servers coming in and out to go to the outside patio. The desert I wanted wasn't available, but to my pleasant surprise, they gave me a loaf of sourdough walnut cranberry loaf for my birthday!

My wife and I frequent this location often! It's been our little escape, 2 minutes from home. Great food for a nice price, lovely ambiance especially in the heated patio, great music choice, and pleasant atmosphere for a conversation and a meal/date/cocktail/coffee/dessert, etc. Service is always pleasant, and never pushy, we were even invited to stay even a bit after closing. We were lucky and even scored some free sourdough bread from their bakery!

The service, food, and atmosphere at French 50 are always outstanding. This evening 4 out of the 5 of us enjoyed the delicious sliders. We would all highly recommend.

Everything was perfect at the Sunday roast dinner. The staff are so lovely, the food was like homemade but WAY better and I love that they try to use local products, perfect french wine pairings and i loved the long harvest type table where you share platters family style. Will for sure be booking another one

The dinner was served family style which we loved. It encouraged conversations between guests who came as strangers and made nice connections. The food was stellar - the special edition pork roast was phenomenal. Everything was spot on. Loved it!
