Went to Bodrum over a year ago and it was wonderful. This experience was incredibly disappointing. The cocktails are totally lacking, especially for the price point. Everything is either sweet or unbalanced. Even classic cocktails, like a martini, are not something to be ordered here. Ordered dips, walnut salad, fried eggplant/zucchini, flatbread, lobster pasta and two of the meat entrees for our group. Things that I'd had before like the dips and fried eggplant/zucchini were not even close to the quality as last time. Everything was bland and the portions lacking for sharing. The meat dishes were totally overcooked. One was so charred and dry, it was inedible. The lobster pasta had very little lobster, very little taste, but the worst part is it's made with store-bought/boxed or bagged pasta. Service was lacking as well. Our server was very nice, but things like bringing out fresh plates or giving us serving spoons really made the experience frustrating. We also ordered a bottle that came out late, but was also really really warm, as if it had been stored next to the oven. I am so sorry to have to take this place off of my list, but I just can't get over how disappointing (and expensive) this was from beginning to end.

The 3 dishes ordered by 3 people arrived separately. This would have been ok if we were all sharing everything, but we were not. We went about 10:45 AM on a Saturday. There were several other customers, but only 1 greeter/server in the dining room. He was charming, but he didn't have anyone else to help him. A couple of other servers arrived later. I guess they under-staff for the first hour or so because it isn't as busy? The food was excellent and we're looking forward to coming back to try some of the other dishes.

I ate here several months earlier and didn't quite like what I ordered. BUT since I'm in charge of a monthly social meeting, I decided to try it again for a small group of six senior gentlemen. The decor is lively, the facilities clean, the menus a little challenging for those who are "meat and potatoe" types (cross reference Dan Quayle). But there is that too at the higher end of the menu. I had a meat on a stick (minced lamb) which came with rice, a tomato salad and some great, dense rolls. I ordered a Turkish coffee in a teeeny tiny cup to wake me up. Universally it seemed the meals were both interesting a flavorful without being too exotic. Our excellent server lady was attentive without being intrusive and she was very pleasant. Value for what most of our table of 6 had was reasonable; but there are higher end plates more suitable for dinner rather than a business lunch. Highly recommended.
