    We celebrated my daughter’s birthday over lunch. Wonderful experience. The food was perfection, and the service was exceptional. We shared the burrata as an appetizer with a bottle of rosé Crémant. My daughter had the lobster, and I had the ribeye dip sandwich. We shared the butterscotch crème brûlée for dessert. Whitney, our waiter was knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging. We will definitely be back.

    Our dining experience at Blue Jay Bistro really exceeded our expectations! We were celebrating our anniversary and when we were seated, there was a handwritten card signed by all of the staff, really a nice added touch! Our server and sommelier, Devon, was so engaging and knowledgeable. He guided us to a wine we thoroughly enjoyed which was on the more modest side of the wine list. The seasonal salad was wonderful and set the stage for dinner. Our entrees were both delicious and so well prepared. We had the pork chop and the beef bourginon. We are from Richmond VA and love dining out. And, we had just been to the Greenbrier resort. This dining experience was better than the resort and rivaled anything we have tried in RVA! Hats off to Chef Ryan and the staff at Blue Jay Bistro!
