Perfect little date night with my babe. Couldn’t have had better time.

This was our second time visiting, and it definitely won’t be our last. Every city I’ve been stationed in has had a favorite restaurant, and after dining at many places throughout Hampton Roads, this is by far our favorite. The food was outstanding, and the service was exceptional. Our waiter, John, was fantastic—attentive, knowledgeable, and made our dining experience even more enjoyable. My wife participated in a wine tasting with the sommelier, Mark, and it was truly impressive. Even though I don’t drink wine myself, I was captivated by the way he explained each bottle. His knowledge of the wines, the vineyards they came from, and even the owners behind them was remarkable. His passion and expertise made the experience memorable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. I’m not an expert on Michelin Star ratings, but if there were ever a restaurant deserving of consideration, this would be one of them. The quality, service, and attention to detail were top-notch. This was my second year coming here with my family. The food was excellent and the service was great.

We've enjoyed Aldo's since they opened 38 years ago. Always excellent food and service. We look forward to our final dinner before leaving Virginia on my birthday next month - hopefully we will find a fine Italian restaurant at our new home.

Class act. We settled into comfortable, upholstered chairs, taking in the bay view, and began…. The blue fish samosa and lettuce salad with blueberries were excellent. From there, my husband enjoyed the blueberry barbecue duck and I the shrimp and grits, both of which were unusually prepared and absolutely delicious. I am a bit embarrassed to say that we had three desserts — they each seemed too good to pass up. And they were, indeed, very good. The figgy pudding was moist and delicious; the lemon pie was bursting with lemon flavor; and the blueberry sorbet, my oh my! We enjoyed everything about the meal, the atmosphere and the service. Highly recommended!
