The service was wonderful, and the food was even better! It’s not every day you find a place with such a diverse menu and can master it all so well. My husband and I enjoyed the crab dip, raw and cheese and bacon oysters, spicy tuna sushi roll, boiled gulf shrimp and potatoes, and the pulled pork Mac n cheese. Everything was absolutely delicious!

Down Island has been one of our favorite restaurants since they opened. Living in a resort town full-time we try to fine amazing restaurants. This is a perfect example!

Have been wanting to try it and thankful we finally did. Sat at the bar. Dimitry was excellent. I tried the lavender martini, pear martini and bees knees. Lavender was earthy but the sugar rim balanced out the flavors well. Pear martini was sweeter than the lavender, but not too sweet and definitely not syrupy. The bees knees was my least favorite. Nor sure the honey balanced out the alcohol as well as I prefer, but might be the right mix for some. Can get it in a cute bee glass. Had the lobster bisque & commelfo salad for an appetizer, which we loved both. Bisque was the perfect combination of light but savory. The salad with the crumbles bacon and vinegarette was very flavorful. The gnocchi was very flavorful and hearty. The tomatoes balanced out the heaviness of the dumplings. Steak was cooked to perfection with the right balance of seasoning. Will absolutely be back and adding this to one of our local favorites!

The food was excellent. OC offers great menu choices on appetizers, entrees and desserts. We had a party of nine and everyone enjoyed their meal. The service was great and the waiter was engaged. OC is a regular stop for us every year due to its great food quality and its proximity to the Sandestin Beach Resort.

Food was excellent. I had the special, which was a red fish with risotto. It was very flavorful.
