Rí Rá is located in an historic bank building, designed by Boston based Harper & West, that was completed in 1931. The pub opened for the first time in March 1999, and was extended in 2002 with the addition of the Library area. In February 2012, The Whiskey Room opened its doors. As you enter Rí Rá, you can imagine yourself walking through a door that leads you across the pond to experience the best pubs of Ireland. The pub interiors were salvaged and restored in Ireland prior to being shipped to Vermont. We are proud to showcase a unique and genuine Irish pub in the heart of Burlington.

    Loved the seasoned tofu on my salad! It was tasty and there was a decent amount! My husband enjoyed his chicken sandwich and beef tallow fries! Our waitress was awesome!

    Great for a Mother’s Day lunch, we had 7 of us and one was over 90, they accommodated nicely and the food was delicious!

    Haystack is located next to the hotel lobby, but don’t let that deter you. My brother and I went over a long weekend expecting it to be packed as a hockey team was getting checked in. Service was quick and attentive. I had a New York sour which was delicious. My brother and I shared the mushroom sandwich melt and the mushroom pasta. Both were out of this world and at the end of the weekend the pasta dish was at the top of our list! A point off for ambience, but give it a go.

    Always a great experience dining outside on a summer evening at BHC. A variety of first and second course options and dessert table. Thursdays seafood shore dinner is a plus. The best views of the lake.
