A lovely meal as always. The wine was well priced and very good

Visited many times for a Sunday roast. Went on a Saturday early evening for the al a carte menu which includes small plates and large plates. The crispy pork belly small plates was great. Then had the lamb cutlets from the large plates menu, the cutlets was served pink, just the way I like them, very tender and tasty, served with a smooth mash, lovely veg and a fabulous sauce. Staff are always friendly and attentive. Great addition to Maghull’s restaurant scene. The owner John they have a singer on every Friday evening from 8pm too.

Saturday night was a good atmosphere and good very good as was service

A lovely restaurant with exceptional food and a wonderful wine list. First class service offering "Tappas" portions if preferred to the normal size.

I can't comment on what the place is like when it's busy, as I went during a very quiet time but it's definitely worth a visit. The menu is a little vague so you might need to ask a lot of questions, but the staff are incredibly friendly and patient. I was served by Imogen (at least that's what it said on my receipt) and she was amazing.
