The Hind's Head is a traditional country village pub and restaurant serving freshly made food and quality local cask ales. We are a free house run by local people in a very picturesque Shropshire village. Pub is set with traditional areas such as wood burning stoves, as well as a cosy restaurant and a welcoming orangery for all our guests to enjoy food, drinks and good company. We offer a wine list as well as a great selection of cask ales, lagers and ciders. The views from the front of the pub have a perfect picture post card view of St Chad's Church in the centre of the village. While we offer traditional pub classics like freshly made pies and fish and chips, lovely signature dishes and a lovely Sunday roast dinner that is extremely popular. We have such recently been awarded Travellers' Choice for the past few years.

    Really good food, nice place, will definitely go again. This time, we had a very noisy trio behind us; we should have asked to move (there were plenty of alternative tables available). The staff were lovely too.

    The food here has always been excellent. The staff are always welcoming professional and very pleasant. We always eat in the ,very comfortable bar as we have a dog. The beer (Butty Bach) is always on good form the house wine is well chosen and very nice. Overall it is all priced very reasonably for such good quality fare. This is by far our favourite pub we shall keep coming.

    Wonderful experience for our 5th wedding anniversary, phenomenal food, fantastic value and the best halloumi fries we have ever had. We enjoyed the mid-week evening classics deal amongst other add ons and were so impressed. All staff we encountered were really friendly and the chap who served us was kind enough to put the fire on for us after our dinner whilst we had a drink. Our new favourite spot. We already cannot wait to come back.
