Tipsy Yeti is a Nepali restaurant that also has some American items on the menu. We have been a few times. The Nepali curries are delicious, as are the momos. The plantain pizza is a white pizza that is very good. Whoever created the cocktails is brilliant. There's a quiet enclosed patio at the back where you can bring your dogs.

We all had so much fun sitting on the patio watching the people go by. It was a bit noisy from the traffic but it was a really nice warm sunny day and it was good to be outside! The food was great. The service was great! What more could you ask for! Oh, I know! Well behaved pups are welcome on the deck! We'll be back - thank you!

Everest Kitchen was a great find for celebrating my friend’s 89th birthday. Comfortable and charming setting and lovely decor. The food was very good, vegetables very fresh and not overcooked. Sauces delicious and not too spicy. Rice and lentil soup came with our dinner entrees. We arrived early enough to order a few happy hour appetizers and enjoy some Prosecco. The servers were attentive, helpful and all very attractive. Turns out they’re all related. This is a family restaurant and they have good reason to be proud of it. I’m looking forward to returning for their lunchtime Thali special.

It had been years since we last dined at Taste of Himalayas in Berkeley, and we were happy to find that some of our favorite dishes were just as delicious as we remembered. The chicken vindaloo and shrimp vindaloo were both excellent, served warm and flavorful with the right balance of protein and potatoes in the rich vindaloo sauce. The plain naan and garlic naan were also a great addition, pairing well with our meals. The only downside was the lentil soup, which tasted a bit watered down and was prepared a bit differently from what we remembered from years ago. That said, overall the experience was still very enjoyable, and we would recommend Taste of Himalayas in Berkeley to anyone who hasn’t tried it yet.
