Dobson & Parnell offers elevated modern British dining on Newcastle Quayside. The open kitchen and sociable dining style showcase vibrant menus inspired by the best produce from the North East, with subtle global influences and a commitment to sustainable, nose-to-tail cooking.Led by Head Chef Kyle Bowman, the menu features bold, seasonal dishes from citrus-cured mackerel with pickled fennel and BBQ pork belly with whipped pease pudding to BBQ monkfish with Café de Paris butter and brown shrimp, alongside vegan nduja bhaji. Sharing dishes such as grilled whole market fish and Beef Wellington encourage relaxed, social dining.Set within a beautifully restored Victorian warehouse, the restaurant blends historic character with a warm, contemporary interior. Dobson & Parnell holds an AA Rosette and was named “Taste of the North East” at the North of England Tourism Awards 2025. Open Monday–Saturday for lunch and dinner, and Sunday for lunch.

An intimate Michelin Guide restaurant based in the heart of Masham - the gateway to The Yorkshire Dales. Listed after just 6 months of opening and having garnered many great write ups subsequently including a rare 5/5 in the Yorkshire Post.The menu is written weekly, a fixed 7 course set menu at £80 per guest (+ optional extras) that constantly evolves based on the best available produce. Sourced from a network of local artisan growers and farmers the aim is to put the best of the UK to your plate with a big focus on the surrounds of North Yorkshire.Chef Jon Atashroo trained at numerous Michelin starred restaurants in London before discovering the simply joy of cooking with fire about 10 years ago and hasn't looked back since. Focused on producing everything possible in house, it is all made in house including the tables and ceramics.

    Our first visit to Dobson and Parnell at first looking at the menu. Being a fussy eater was concerned there may only be one choice. How wrong I was. After a lovely welcome from Alex and showing us to our table she explained the dishes taking time and also helping explain the wines on offer. We had one of the nicest dinning experiences ever. Thankyou so much. To all yous are doing a fantastic job. Hope to be back soon. Busy telling everyone abt yous thankyou so much

    Booked at the last minute as we decided to have a weekend away staying in Masham. WOW WOW WOW. Food incredible, service warm and attentive and the wine flight was superb. Just go you will not be disappointed!

    Superb menu, created around the chef patron's antipodean roots. Carefully crafted flavours and presentation in a wonderfully warm and welcoming, newly refurbished restaurant, packed with ambience. Brilliant bar on entry, superbly looked after by all staff, fully informed regarding the dishes served and assisted with wine choices. Chef patron attended tables to detail origins of food and made the experience excellent. All in all wonderful.
