There are ninety-nine different ways to write “sushi” in the Japanese script of kanji. Each with its own unique interpretation and meaning. It was with great deliberation that our founder, Billy, chose 寿司 to best represent his personal interpretation of the word - Celebration of Fish!That’s exactly how Billy feels about the art of making sushi and the atmosphere that surrounds it - it should be a celebration! Kado no Mise, translating to “Corner Restaurant,” serves Edomae sushi and simple, delicate Japanese fare, true to the tastes and form that Chef Furukawa learned when he first started cooking professionally in his hometown of Tokyo. We are accepting reservations for our omakase prix-fixe tasting menu at our second floor chef’s counter and in our second floor dining room Wednesday-Sunday. We are offering three set omakase menus: “ume” (94/pp), “take” (148/pp), and “matsu” (202/pp). At the counter, only “take” and “matsu” are available. Our seating times are 5:30/5:45 and 8:00/8:15. Prices reflect an included 21% service charge. Omakase, which translates to “I’ll leave it up to you,” is a dining experience in which you leave your evening in the hands of the sushi chef, who orchestrates a highly-curated sequence of dishes. The omakase experience involves an element of surrender and trust, but that trust is rewarded with a diversity of flavors and the best that our restaurant has to offer.

    We had: Pike road glass of wine Raspberry beret x2 Summer breeze (sake) B.A.D Boujee Number 9 George Clooney (but screaming O sounded good too) Yaki udon Just under $200 The food and drinks were all very good. The waitress was EXTREMELY helpful, even allowing me to try a couple sake’s before receiving a very generous pour. She was very pleasant while answering all of our questions- including’will the leftovers still be good the next day’. They were. But I would not wait more than 24 hours to eat them. Overall the 3 of us really enjoyed our meal! We were able to use a parking app and parked right across the street.

    Our chef was awesome and cooked everything perfect. Our server was nice but didn't come check on us during service. We needed drinks and she didn't come back till the end of cooking. Needed to be a but more attentive. Overall, we really enjoyed the evening.

    We tried the curry sushi and the house ramen and it was so delicious! The service was friendly and quick and their back patio is really cute (although a little loud with all the planes overhead) but I’d definitely go back!
