A New American Tavern, Russell House Tavern is a comfortable gathering spot for every occasion-from casual lunch breaks on the patio to after-work cocktails in the upstairs tavern to functions in the private dining room and everything in between. Russell House Tavern delivers a seasonally-inspired menu of modern interpretations of American classics, including signatures like the R. House Burger, a selection of Tavern Pizzas and Steak Frites among other dishes. To complement the menu, Russell House Tavern serves an interesting collection of all-star American wines, and a locally-driven craft beer selection. The cocktail menu strikes a balance between familiar classics and modern hand-crafted recipes using only fresh juices, homemade syrups and infusions.

Award-winning chef and restaurateur Michael Scelfo's Longfellow Bar at Alden & Harlow is a neighborhood bar and restaurant located in the historic Café Algiers space directly above his flagship restaurant at 40 Brattle Street in Harvard Square. The food and drinks at The Longfellow Bar continue to explore Chef Scelfo’s forward-thinking approach to experiencing a meal around his kitchen counter. The menu features bar food that is intended to be passed and shared, allowing guests the opportunity to become immersed in a relaxed and tactile approach to eating; they’re encouraged to break bread and get their hands messy. Rooted in genuine hospitality and exceptional cocktails, the bar program follows Chef Scelfo’s ethos of taking simple ingredients and transforming them, incorporating unique flavors and textures.

A&B Burgers is one of those restaurants, one that has transitioned into a dining scene based around hospitality, creative menus and a space driven by the energy of the bar. Not everyone feels like eating a burger and with that in mind, we built a menu that offers options for those times. We have guests who have been dining with us for 8 years now and have never eaten one of our award-winning burgers, instead, they enjoy sharing a few small plates to start and then order entrees with a bottle of wine. Just because we are so well known for our award-winning burgers doesn’t mean that’s all we do well. You’ll need to come in and experience this for yourselves and we promise you it will be worth it!veryone isn’t looking for the same casual restaurant experience that is so common these days. We are working daily to elevate our restaurant from a predictable neighborhood restaurant to one that offers a change from the norm and excites with each visit.
