Lovely Restaurant and Lounge Bar dining area, with working fireplace and rustic beams creating a good ambience, very popular too, so booking is recommended. A good menu covering all tastes plus seasonal "Specials" board. I had the "Fish n Chips", Battered Cod, Chunky Chips, Peas and Tartar Sauce, freshly cooked, piping hot, and absolutely Yummy! My wife had the Lasagne, very substantial, tasty, and "Homemade", all boxes ticked, followed by something from the Desserts menu, Sticky Toffee Pudding with Ice Cream being a favourite, all served very attentively by the friendly team, many thanks!!

The lunch set menu is excellent value and the meal selections should satisfy most tastes.

I don't know why we don't go there more often. food is always good and service is friendly and timed just right
