Abigail Hall pays homage to femininity and history through comfortable yet beautiful 40-seat living room style bar. Located in the original Ladies Reception Hall of the former Cornelius Hotel of 1908, we like to believe it was once where the suffragettes of Abigail Scott Duniway’s (our bar’s namesake) time convened.Design features include a fireplace, a reproduction of the penny-tile floors and green wainscot walls from 1911 and a mix of lush materials and colors including pink and deep maroon leather banquettes and fabrics. The walls are hand-painted mural by local Portland artist Michael Paulus. We will always find ways to honor to the many women who continue to inspire us through our offerings, but of course Abby welcomes ALL into our space.     Thank you for another outstanding experience at Piatino! One of our favorite restaurants in Portland. We love the ambiance, delicious food and impeccable service, everything about it is top notch. Highly recommend!

    Wonderful, perfect night. I made a last minute reservation that was accommodated. Staff switched a few things around and fit us in and didn’t make a big deal out of it. Our server, Callie, was informed, polite and sparkly. The wine recommendation was lovely. Every single dish was so uniquely flavorful. Great summer menu with so much to choose from. I ended up ordering too much but our server boxed everything individually and marked each box with its contents in perfect handwriting. What a treat! Everyone is so nice there and I feel really enjoys what they do. Don’t miss this fine dining experience. Bravo, bravo!

    We had a great experience, a great time connecting with friends that we have not seen for some time. Food was good as usual Our server was so helpful, checked on us several times, made sure we have everything we need. Very knowledgeable about the menu and was very patient. Deserves recognition.

    Bar Comala is just as fantastic as sister restaurant Comedor Lilia! We drive across from Seattle to Portland to dine here atleast couple times a year if not more! We’re also fans of their other sister restaurant Republica and their coffee shop! Full marks to this establishment for wowing us year after year with their innovative cocktails, food, and impeccable service!
