The restaurant is first class. The food is divine and the service beyond professional. The atmosphere is very good and the lady who owns the restaurant Maureen goes over and beyond to make you feel welcome. It is one of the best restaurants in California.
Food was excellent
After many years of enjoyment at Vincenti, we were disappointed with last Tuesday’s experience. The waiter did not know the pricing of some of the specials. Three of the four of us had the family meal. The salad was ordinary. The tortellini was delicious. The rack of lamb was very disappointing. There was little flavor; we ordered the lamb medium rare, but it came undercooked; and it was greasy. Finally, we had an affigato for dessert; there was little espresso, and the vanilla ice cream was not rich and creamy and had ice crystals. The ice cream tasted as though it had been in the glass for several hours rather than having been scooped for serving to us. When we complained to the waiter about the dessert, he shrugged and did not adjust the check. Of course, he didn’t care as there was a flat 18% service charge on the check. Finally, when I pay these prices the meal should have been much, much more satisfying.
Excellent food as always, comfortable and QUIET.
On a busy night, with the restaurant full of A-list celebrities, the staff of Vincenti didn't miss a beat. Everything was prepared and served to perfection, Top items included the beet salad and diver's scallop appetizer and gnocchi, risotto and paccheri as good as if they had come from the best trattorie in Italia, Bravi, ancora!!!!
The restaurant was empty the host wanted to seat us at a smallish table for 2table for two which was very small. I requested a larger table because my dinner date is a big robust man. They suggested a table in the back room, I asked if we could we sit in the main dining room since the restaurant was empty. it took about five minutes before we got an approval to sit in the front part of the restaurant. Our dinner took about an hour and a half, when we left the restaurant they were still empty tables in the main dining room. I don’t understand why it was such a big deal to sit at a table for four, especially since the restaurant was not fully booked.
Really delicious as always,my only beef is that the special valentines menu was overpriced for what it was
Great food, ambience. The Proprietor, Maureen, is friendly and engaging.
We were a party of six that was seated in the back room, which was purported to be much quieter than the main room, only to find that there was a group of sixteen celebrating at an unacceptable decibel level, in the small room. Hard to talk without shouting. Hard on a mature group.
She didn’t tell us that a tip was added. It was not a large group—only four. I added a tip and when I later found out I was angry. If it’s in the fine print it doesn’t count.
This restaurant is a hidden gem. From the service to the delicious Italian fare from the beautiful setting to the cleanest bathroom I’ve ever seen, this was an amazing treat of a restaurant. My butter lettuce Caesar salad and wild king salmon with capers sauce was out of this world.I will definitely be back.
Excellent food and service.
The waiter seemed drunk. Awful acoustics but good food.
The best Italian in Brentwood.
Truly delicious and always such a lovely night.
First time in the small room which was definitely quieter than main.
We had a reservation for dinner, but they could see we were having a great time in the bar. Lovely Hostess. Personable Bartender. AMAZING Martini. Thank you for making a long week seem a bit less stressful.
Always a very satisfying experience dining there. The food is excellent in quality and taste.
the service is commendable and a most pleasant ambiance.
The food is beyond excellent! You feel like family with the owner and staff that watches carefully over every aspect of your experience. Nothing is overdone or over presented. Always a pleasure!
Wasn't thrilled with it. Very pricey and the food is just ok. . .
Incredible food. A little too bright.
Vincenti Restaurante never disappoints. The food is
High quality delicious, the wait staff knows their way around the dining room and people, the owner Maureen, is affable and available. All personnel go out of their way to make you feel at home.
Worth every dollar plus Henry Winkler, Carole Bayer Sager and Bob Daly were at the next table.
Still amazing food from this Puglian Chef Nicola Mastronardi and his team. After 20 years, his style still remains clean, simple, modern rustic and fresh Soups, Salads, pastas, wood fired pizzas, meats with assorted sides. If you can make it to their bar at 5 -6:30 for happy hour small plates bar menu and we'll drinks go for $10. Quite the deal. Check their website for details.
Superb food and excellent service. It also feels like home I love to come here
We have been to this restaurant many times and it’s always outstanding! Love it!
The atmosphere, attention to you as a customer from hostess, waiters to even the car parkers is outstanding and personal. The menu choices and fantastic with additional specials making it difficult to choose. My guest and I found the quality, presentation, and taste of the food to be exquisite! Really, I can't think of one aspect of our experience that I'd like different. This can easily be called one of my most favorite restaurants in the city.
It was our first time here. We used the Travelzoo voucher, that happens to be great value. But, after viewing the menu, they have other dinner options which are just as good.
Best Italian in the City!
Incredible, especially the pork shoulder that I had. This restaurant should be getting raves every day.
A bit disappointing. Restaurant is beautiful but food was bland. Steak ordered medium well was served blood rare. “Gelato” was nothing more than ice milk. Service was sub par as well. Drinks were not refilled; Had to request grated cheese on pasta and pepper on my salad. Entree was served without a fork. Long wait to order dessert; coffee was not offered at dessert time.
Excellent cuisine, and attentive service.
Vincenti has lost it, service is mediocre, place is dead at 8pm on weekdays (3 tables with guests), food is still good but neither exceptional nor cheap.
Ditch the menus, the specials are the focus. After a brief delay to take drink orders, service quickly hit its stride. Spacing between courses was nearly perfect. Food was outstanding. Nice ambience. Highly recommended.
The food was amazing. Our server recommended a wonderful cabernet sauvignon. Service was good but when it got a bit busier, the server didn't come around for a while. We were engrossed in our meal. Not sure I would have the same dessert but the cortado was fabulous. We'll be back.
The restaurant is better than ever. The menu, the food quality, the wait staff and the ambiance
all combine to make for a great dining experience. I highly recommend it for those who prefer
more than a grab and go.
Excellent food; Great service; The corkage fee was a bit high; A perfect place to celebrate my wife's birthday.
Loved the food, loved the service. I would highly recommend this restaurant. It is definitely high end. So are the prices. Worth it in my opinion.
I used to love Vincenti. The pastas are always delicious and I’ve always had a great time there. It pains me to say that my most recent visit (it’s been years!) was not great. Our waiter was strangely aloof and although the food was good i didn’t love my pasta. At 10:30pm a woman came into the room my friends and i were dining in and said (a bit rudely i might add) “WE ARE ALL READY TO GO HOME”. I have to say it wasn’t a great way to end the night. My girl friends and i all agreed we would not be going back.
Extremely overpriced, the dish my friend ordered was so salty it was inedible, and when I asked for a side of parmesan for the pasta I ordered, I was refused by the waiter because I was told you weren't supposed to eat cheese with seafood dishes. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.
