Food was good. Location is really nice for a sunset. I wish the waitresses was more attentive. I would have had more to drink had she asked but she never did. Overall good experience but it could have been better.

We really enjoyed our brunch here with the live music and beautiful view. Food and service were great. We stayed at the hotel and went again for drinks and apps in the bar. Both visits were wonderful.

The food is outstanding. My wife had Cioppino and I had the three-fish sampler. Both were excellent; the fish was cooked perfectly. Even better: the Ceviche appetizer. Also, the view at sunset is spectacular.

Good not good at all we waited a long time for our meal, worst bday dinner ever! I just kept telling myself and my guest to just look At the sunset!! Do not even have dessert just wanted to leave. Waste of my money $ over 300

Attentive and excellent service, very good food (although the Puerto Nuevo lobster seems overpriced and wasn’t truly prepared “Puerto Nuevo style.)” All in all, an enjoyable dinner with a superb view to celebrate a special occasion.

My husband and I were celebration our 40th anniversary and we invited a few friends to help us celebrate this occasion. La Jolla Shores restaurant was nothing short of spectacular. The service was excellent, and the food was outstanding. I would recommend them to everyone I know.

Overpriced for very average food, the portions are way too big. Cocktails were eh. I feel like diners are paying to eat on the beach and that’s about it.

As always the Shores restaurant was wonderful. We were there for a birthday celebration. The food was delicious, as was the dessert. The service was excellent- my water glass never went dry and our server was attentive but not over bearing. The view was spectacular, watching dolphins play off shore. I highly recommend.

Of course being on the beach makes the lunch wonderful. But this place is undergoing INCREDIBLE noise during some rehabilitation and isn't worth a visit until maybe the Fall. We couldn't eat outside because of the pool construction noise, and inside we heard noise from the garage construction! Made it ridiculous and we all agreed, a terrible choice for lunch.

Food was good i recommend the crab sandwich. Waitress was really nice and the people there are super friendly. If you are a local, try this place out to feel like you are on vacation. Place smelled nice and had live music 8.5/10 i rate overall.

Black mussels appetizer on the lunch menu was excellent, large enough to consider a meal. The open swordfish sandwich also very good, and a bit pricey, but a value for this beachfront restaurant with a beautiful view. One of our favorite spots in La Jolla.

We met my father and family for lunch here and were able to eat outside on their patio, ambiance was wonderful. Beautiful weather, gorgeous view of the ocean and live entertainment plus the food was delicous. Highly recommend!
