   I frequently have lunch at The Knick with friends. Good food, good service, great location. Outdoor seating is wonderful. I've never been disappointed.

    Went to the Knick to celebrate 2 birthdays, which I did mention when I made the reservation. However, nothing special was done while we were there. The food was not very good. My son ordered corn beef hash and there were 2 small pieces of corn beef in it. He did bring this to the attention of our waitress, who immediately offered him something else from the menu. The rest of our party said that the food was nothing special. I do want to say that the service was good and ambiance of the restaurant was nice. I would probably not return.

    The restaurant was very busy, but our server (Christopher) was friendly, attentive, and kind. He followed up with us to see if the entree was to our liking. As usual the food was top notch and the dessert was a perfect conclusion. My only concern is that parking was horrible. I realize that there are three churches nearby. However that would be the exact reason to offer valet parking on Sunday mornings!

    The Knick is a reliable and very good restaurant that I always enjoy going to eat. The service is very good and the ambience is terrific. The brunch menu is eclectic and very nice. (though the potatoes on two of our plates were over-done and hard) Overall, a great choice for all meals and I recommend it!

    We were seated on the patio and forgotten about. After a little more than 30 minutes we gave up hoping the bartenders - who kept glancing at us through the window- would say something, and alerted our server, who was apologetic and got us cocktails on the house. The cocktails were quite excellent - probably the best part of the meal. I had the NY strip and it was barely pink (I ordered medium rare) and the potatoes were undercooked. My husband ordered the ribs and the fries and bbq sauce were pretty good actually. Not the best experience, but I think we’d try it again. We would eat there again for convenience, but it probably wouldn’t be our first choice. We’d need to go again and have a great experience to recommend it.

    Our waitstaff was very thoughtful - returning often to check on us, but not interrupting our conversation. We were enjoying a reunion after many years and wanted to enjoy a very leisurely lunch. She made us feel comfortable and able to enjoy our time together. Margaret Rossetto

    A friend referred us. She said the Friday Night Fish fry was worth the trip from the suburbs. We ended up going on Saturday night and it was still worth the trip! Blackened Tilapia, Calamari with sautéed seaweed (!) and we tried the special bouillabaisse soup. Unexpectedly delish. Our waitress Vera was gracious and patient. All in all, a very nice experience.

    I've been coming to The Knick for a number of years now. I usually visit about 2 time per month. It's one of my favorite restaurants. This past Friday, Jan 13th, 2023, I was somewhat disappointed due to the fact I thought our waitress didn't seem friendly at All!!! I was there with 2 other friends. I felt she was in some instances a little rude! I felt like she was trying to rush us. This is the first time I'd had an experience like this. Normally, the wait staff have always been exceptional. Friendly with fantastic customer service skills. I believe our waitress name was Darieen (not sure of spelling)

    Dinner was excellent. We had the Airline Chicken - super moist, New York Strip - cooked perfect, Ahi-Tuna bowl - best my daughter has ever had and the Bacon-Bleu burger -again, cooked exactly as ordered and very tasty. Devon was a great server, explained all our meals as they were served to our table.

    We enjoyed our meal at the Knick again! I love the menu variety and the location when your heading downtown for a night out! It’s not too hard to get a reservation- but always has people! They have a cute little indoor outdoor dining area with heaters when it’s cold.
