   Excellent 3-course dinner special for $29, plus $12 for wines paired with each course. Mushroom bisque; Neah Bay black cod (tender and moist) with lentils & spinach; poached pear with fig for dessert. Like many restaurants, Fireside is short-staffed, but our over-tabled server was attentive and pleasant. A fine evening.

   We have been to Fireside numerous times. We enjoyed celebrating our 51st wedding last night. Everything, food, ambience, service and value were as expected. We hope to come back the next time we can.

   We were seated in the back room. It was a wonderful date night evening out. Food was outstanding, although we did have to wait quite a while for service to bring us water or take our order. Once they realized that however, service was apologetic and wonderful after. Drinks were delicious, and the Potato leek soup was AMAZING! We look forward to returning seasonally for their other variations of locally sourced meals!

   The Fireside is a lovely restaurant, a real surprise in the Quimper Peninsula area. Our wait person was especially attentive and the quiet ambiance reminded us of being in someone's home. The six of us ordered the Wednesday night three course fixed price menu which is offered every Wednesday for $29 per person. Each course was excellent. The chef is outstanding (I've been to events he catered but not the restaurant). We are looking forward to being able to eat outside on their marina view deck. I regret I did not find this place sooner! This was our first visit and we will return soon.

    We have dined here for both dinner and lunch quite a few times. Dinner is cozy inside by the fireplace and you can be as dressy or casual as you like. It's a perfect place for celebrating a special occasion. The food is always delicious and beautifully presented. We have enjoyed lunch outside a few times overlooking the marina. It's a slow-paced, classy, boaty PNW vibe and a great place to just hang out with your favorite person and a great meal!

    The food is good, not outstanding but everything was up to par. Service is awesome and the ambiance is really nice with fireplaces throughout and a water view from some tables.

    The Fireside is a gem and absolutely has some of the best farm to fresh food around. Between the view, food and the caring staff like waiter Adam, your bound to fall in love with this little restaurant. Check out their Wednesday night specials. But no matter when you visit, make a reservation and ask for a table with a view. You won’t be disappointed.

    We stayed at the Port Ludlow Inn for our Anniversary and had dinner that night at the Fireside Restaurant. It was pretty much perfect. We enjoyed a two hour quiet dinner - excellent service and food. Nice quiet atmosphere. Very happy with our experience.

    Had dinner here during the Happy hour time period. Nice Caesar salad for 8.00, husbands burger & fries was one of the best we have ever tasted. I had been wanting 2 try their oysters & they’d been out for several days. April was outstanding & went out of her way & got the kitchen to bring them to me (they finally got them in) before dinner service. They were so good I ordered two orders. April went above & beyond on her service on several occasions during our stay. Big shout out to management on her service from us.

    My wife had the steelhead and loved it. I had the chicken jidori and was not happy with it, way too salty and a small portion. Service was very good as was the ambiance.

    We live up in Port Townsend and find the Fireside to be our favorite restaurant in the area. Food is always top notch. Had the Halibut and the flat iron steak last night and enjoyed each very much. Great to have such a nice place in the area!

    We realize that we were towards the end of the special Thanksgiving dinner, but we made the reservation and thought it would be okay. We were seated 20 minutes late, took another half hour for drinks to arrive. We asked about the flight that was advertised. Our server knew nothing about it. When she went and checked with the manager the price had gone up $10 over advertised price. A little later the soup arrived cold. The salad come next but the flight wines were out of sinc, one was skipped. The family style dinner arrived and dishes were under and over cooked. Just mediocre for $69 per person. Dinner took almost 3 hours, with long gaps. Our server was also serving a 16 person party. There was definitely not enough help, our server was grumpy and stressed. It was not fair to her, the kitchen and the bar staff. We tipped 20%, but will not spend over $500 there again. Fireside was a huge disappointment for Thanksgiving. We should have known better than to go on a holiday.

    Enjoyed Thanksgiving at the Fireside. The food was delicious. It was obviously very fresh, seasonal, locally sourced and made from scratch. They seemed a bit understaffed but given these wonderful people were working on Thanksgiving so we did not have to, I could not complain. Took home enough leftovers for another meal.

    The setting was beautiful at 4:40 pm, with a view of the water and mountains and a nice fire burning in the fireplace. The service was a little slow, but we were not in a hurry. The food was excellent and the apple tart for dessert really topped the meal.
