Tavern at Mission Farms is a classic American styled restaurant, in the heart of Leawood, that features great salads, sandwiches, seafood, steaks and pastas.

    We had an enjoyable lunch at Tavern at Mission Farms. Our server was an excellent communicator and most attentive. Our meals were server hot and nicely presented. One of my favorite spots!

    The food here is always excellent. It gets pretty busy at peak dinner time, so a reservation seems necessary then, but it’s worth the forethought.

    This restaurant does not disappoint! Every time I’ve dined here, the experience is the same- excellent! The food is amazing and their menu stays fresh!! Such a fantastic place to dine and celebrate.

    Normally, I rate the food at this restaurant as very good or excellent. Not this time. I ordered the Reuben sandwich. It was not very good; in fact, it was mediocre at best. The bread was not toasted as it should be. The quality of corn beef on the sandwich was sub-par; it tasted like lunch meat. There was very little cheese on the sandwich and almost no condiments. The accompanying French fries was dull and needed seasoning. All in all, my meal was disappointing and overpriced.

    Birthday lunch. We all had fish and chips special. Our server was great. The birthday girl got triple chocolate cake with a candle on it.

    Upscale prices, but outstanding food and very good service. Not very full this time, so it was especially quiet. Too expensive to eat here frequently, but well worth it when we do.

    Our food was delicious. My husband had the Tavern Burger and I had the Black and Blue Steak Pasta and we would order both again. The waiter was very friendly and provided excellent service.

    The food was not good. The chicken was dry, the potatoes were cold, and the crab cakes barely had any crab in them. For two people, lunch was $83 with tip. Not worth it, very disappointing

    I always enjoy the food and service at the Tavern at Mission Farms. It was especially nice Saturday night to be seated near the fireplace on a damp rainy evening. I like that the menu is so diverse and there's a dish for every taste.

    Mission Farms is such a great place to go--for lunch, dinner, even special occasions. The food was fantastic (we had the trout and the filet), our waitress was great, and the kitchen and bar got everything out quickly and correctly. Highly recommended.

    Fantastic brunch. Great service and not too crowded for a Sat a.m. I had the brie, pistachio and Rosemary honey French toast. My spouse had the huevos rancheros. It was a toss up which was better. Both were pretty awesome.

    We ate off the extensive brunch menu. Unfortunately both our entrees arrived warm not hot. Not cool enough to send back but probably sat for awhile. Otherwise it was a pleasant experience.

    Items and prices on the internet web site had no resemblance to the one at the restaurant, manager said it was in the owners hands to change and hadn't been for weeks if not longer. Potatoes, green beans, and spinach all drastically undercooked, almost raw. Trout was fine, but one serving with the skin, one without, almonds way too heavy on one, almost non-existant on another. Noise level made normal conversation impossible. It took 25 minutes for our cocktail order, and we were asked what we would like for dinner at the same time menus arrived! Horrible experience.

    Perfect place to meet friends for lunch. I had the soup snd Tavern salad. Perfect on a cold day! The service was the right amount of attention and our waiter recommended the coffee drink in lieu of dessert. It was the perfect end to a great meal.

    This was my first visit to this restaurant I enjoyed my food and so did my husband. I had the Short ribs pasta and he had the Mahi and grits. The wait time for our salads, entrees and desert was kinda quick. Our server was attentive and easy to find.

    Happy hour was good. Server wasn’t super attentive, but the food was ok-would not recommend the lobster pot pie but the nachos on the happy hour menu were delish.
