   Never a bad meal. Chicken and waffle innovative and cubano sandwich delicious. Slow on the mimosa's but a cute neighborhood place with history.

    Very mixed feelings. I would love to go back for a drink, and listen to quiet jazz by the fire. Lovely, old-fashioned room as you enter. The food, though, was mediocre, didn't seem fresh, and not worth the price we paid. We might try again for lunch but not dinner, just because of the unique setting.

    We had a lovely dining experience. The brunch menu was well curated and everything was delicious. I haven't been to the Tabard Inn in years and had forgotten what a unique experience it is in terms of atmosphere. Very cozy, with impeccable service. Now that I've been back after many years I won't stay away for long!

    Tabard Inn was a fantastic dining experience. We reserved a table for breakfast and enjoyed a peaceful meal whilst listening to the excellent jazz music they played. The whole ambiance was perfect, and we loved the attention to detail in the design, and with the meal. The menu was classic yet creative. The chive and cream cheese eggs were delicious. What’s more, the staff was so generous and gifted us donuts and coffee for our wedding anniversary. Highly recommend supporting this historic restaurant!

    Table of six - shared two apps - calamari & octopus and the shrimp. Very nicely done with great flavors and cooked perfectly. Three or four different salads were apparently really good-nary a lettuce leaf left anywhere. Pork chop, halibut and duck were similarly enjoyed with pretty big smiles all around. Hadn’t been here in years for lunch or dinner and really glad to be able to heartily recommend it. Our waiter Eddie was handling the beautiful, and extremely busy lounge area where we fortunate to be seated for dinner, and he worked it all very well.

    Such a quaint place with a wonderful brunch menu. The portion was large and easily shareable. It’s tucked away and you need to be looking for it to find it but it’s worth the effort!

    We can't say enough good things about the Tabard Inn! The food was fabulous, the atmosphere was fabulous and the service was fabulous! We will definitely come back again as we want to enjoy the enclosed patio next time! Highly Recommend!!

    We had a lovely dinner… delicious in all ways from salad to dessert. We loved all aspects and had not been there in some years. It has a British feel to it, small spaces which feel so cozy and service that is outstanding!

    Talk about a phenomenal experience…both the service and food exceeded our expectations!! I coordinated a reservation for a small group dinner. The staff went above and beyond to ensure the table was in a quiet corner of the restaurant. The servers and bartenders were fantastic. The food was fresh, unique, and flavor forward. We Will ABSOLUTELY be back!

    The ambiance and staff were good but EVERY dish that I had was bad. I had the oysters (how do you mess that up) , the octopus (oddly sautéed vs grilled), and the roasted chicken (very dry).

    The only reason it's not all 5 stars... we had to wait quite a while before being acknowledged at the check in table to be seated. We had reservations a well. Once seated, the service improved and the food was tasty.

    It was our first time here, and what a pleasant surprise! Our waiter was exactly what we expected in a fine dining restaurant but is increasingly rare. The food was all very tasty. I appreciate that the chef takes chances with unique ingredients and pairings. The calamari and octopus appetizer was a fusion of Mediterranean and Asian. It’s daring and addictive. We also had the halibut and pork chop entrees. Both of them offered uncommon gastro experience. By the way, the ambiance and lighting of the dining room was perfect for a date night.
