Absolutely the most memorable meal I have had in Sicily. Truly a must visit in Palermo.

My wife and I were in Palmero for only a day and were looking for a mid-afternoon meal. Il Culinario was open so we tried it. And we are glad we did. OT’s ratings and reviews were spot on. We had the sea bass for two. It was excellent. If we ever get back to Palermo we’ll definitely come back here.

We needed a place to eat after a 9pm concert at the Politeama that ended at 1030pm. We got to the restaurant late at 11 and they still seated us. The young servers were very attentive. The sommelier picked out an excellent Sicilian wine. The food was highest quality. A "street food" appetizer (panela) and shrimp bruschette, then main courses of strips of tuna and an octopus plate. Large portions, excellent sauces, well prepared -- we commented on how good the meal was. We didn't have dessert or coffee as it was now well past midnight and they were closing up, but I would definitely go back, and hopefully earlier to enjoy a more leisurely meal there.
