We stop taking day of reservations after 4pm. Please call the restaurant after 4pm.

We do not accept parties of 4 people or more. We are a small restaurant with only 22 seats and cannot accommodate larger parties.

Established in April of 2015, The Taverna serves authentic Greek fare while remaining true to our Greek roots. Our menu highlights what is available to us locally and seasonally. Our wine list is one of the largest all Greek wine lists in the United States which features natural, orange and organic wines. We offer a unique dining experience that can only be found in a few select locations in the country. We welcome you to our little Taverna in Brunswick!

Havana has been committed to serving local and organic meats, produce and seafood since it opened 25 years ago. All of our meats are “naturally raised” meaning no steroids, antibiotics or hormones and “humanely raised” meaning room to roam, proper shelter and gentle handling. We make every effort to buy only sustainably harvested seafood, primarily from the Gulf of Maine. We have consistently searched out New England farmers and fisherfolk to purchase product that is not only great tasting but great for the environment and local economy as well.

The Reading Room offers guests of the Bar Harbor Inn, visitors to Bar Harbor, and our dearly loved regulars a distinguished fine dining experience overlooking Frenchman Bay.

Serving breakfast and dinner daily, the Reading Room is a one of a kind dining experience. Delectable local Maine cuisine and attentive service are surpassed only by the magnificent panoramic ocean views.

Start your evening with locally farmed oysters while deciding between our signature Beef Short Ribs or Filet and Lobster Tail fresh from the boats on the Harbor. Linger over a slice of Maine Blueberry Pie while you enjoy a crafted cocktail and soft piano music.

Smart casual attire is preferred, but not required. We do not accept parties exceeding 6 people. Please note that we are not able to guarantee tables by the window.

In season, our highly rated restaurant serves breakfast and dinner daily. Breakfasts at the Friar are hearty and healthy. Portions are generous and everything is made from scratch right here at the Black Friar Inn. Open to the public, breakfast is served from 7:30 am to 10:00 am. If you are staying at the Inn, your breakfast is included in the room rate.

Each afternoon the Friar's Pub opens at 4 pm for happy hour, offering $6 house wine and drafts (Maine selections always on tap) and the company is fine. Settle in after a day in the park in an old-fashioned British pub atmosphere. A full line of spirits, classic and creative cocktails, wines, and craft brews are served.

Shareable plates and pub fare, dinner offerings include welsh rarebit, scotch eggs, crab cakes, and much more. The dinner service begins at 4 pm.

Nebo Lodge is a small inn and restaurant on the unbridged island of North Haven, Maine.
Dining at Nebo Lodge requires a boat ride to reach North Haven. The Maine State Ferry does not accommodate dinner reservations as the last ferry departs North Haven at 3:45pm. Nebo offers a private dinner cruise to reach the island most Fridays and Saturdays; tickets can be purchased here: http://www.nebolodge.com/round-trip-dinner-cruise. The purchased tickets guarantees you a reservation here for that night at 5:00. Otherwise you need to spend the night on island or come over on your own private boat.
