   I was very excited to try Ruth’s Chris due to the hype surrounding the restaurant. The facility is very nice and has outstanding service but the food was equivalent to Texas Roadhouse and costs 5x as much. My girlfriend and I tried several different dishes and agreed that every one of them was mediocre. I assumed the steak would be phenomenal seeing as that is their staple, but I believe most people would have better luck cooking a steak at home. The cocktails were the only thing we ordered that impressed. Definitely not worth the money, but the service staff was great.

   For the first time in our experiences wit Ruth’s Chris, the steak was not very well prepared. Service was adequate but definitely not up to Ruth Chris standards that my wife and I had grown to love and expect. Sorry.

   Dining room and bar temperature was just too COLD and not even close to comfortable. This was an unpleasant experience for us. We have noticed this several times before. I noticed the thermostat on the wall and it was reading 66 degrees. It was also set to 66 degrees. Most experts agree that the most comfortable dining temperature is between 69-72 degrees. I understand that many believe that lower dining room temperatures stimulate more sales. However, if patrons are freezing they will leave as quickly as possible making for less sales. Please adjust!

    Geeeting Host, waiter, and servers were excellent. The double Woodford Reserve was to the brim! The petite fillet was superb, the stuffed chicken was phenomenal, the sides were generous and over-the-top delicious. Prices are a bit much but after all was said and done we were thoroughly satisfied and impressed with the quality of the food. It truly is remarkably above and beyond what we get at other good steak houses. The women’s bathroom however, needed attention to the point that my wife went in, turned around, and came right back out refusing to use it. Prices notwithstanding, we will likely eat there again on special occasions. Ruth’s Chris exemplifies what a dining experience should be like.

    My husband and I ordered steaks…ribeye and petite filet. Although they were cooked well, they were barely seasoned. Also, we shared two sides…broccoli, which did not taste like it had been seasoned at all, and sweet potato casserole, which was actually delicious. Oh, we also had the stuffed mushrooms, which were very flavorful. In addition to one alcoholic beverage and a sweet tea, our bill total was $190. We both agreed that we could have had a better steak dinner at Steak Out..,for one fifth of the cost. Concerning atmosphere, there was no ambiance. We were seated at a booth directly in front of the service station and kitchen. In my opinion, well-paying patrons should not be seated in such a busy and distracting area. Our waitress was nice and accommodating. Overall, we had a decent experience, though I can’t imagine patronizing this establishment again…not even for a special occasion.

    I had reservations a few weeks before and asked for a quiet table and celebrating a special event. We were seated in a corner near the kitchen and bathroom entrance and told there wasn’t a better table. There was also a very large party taking most of the space near us. Not a very nice atmosphere for our celebration. Our waiter did his best to make it pleasant but we expect better when dining here.

    Our Anniversary dinner and the manager personalized our celebration with a take home dessert. Food was excellent and lived up to restaurant’s reputation. Restaurant was very busy and the waitstaff and hostess made the best of the situation. Thankful we had reservations.

    We enjoyed our Valentine's Day dinner very much. We chose to order off the traditional menu (not the Vday fixed menu). We enjoyed an appetizer, one surf and turf dish to share, a salad and brussels sprouts along with two cocktails. With tip the meal came to just over $200. The steak was perfect.

    First, the valet “D” was great…my wife is in a wheelchair and he was helpful from our arrival to leaving! Secondly, staff did put us at a good location for a wheelchair. Thirdly, serving lapses between the order and the salad, the main course and the dessert could improve. Shrimp was small and a little overcooked. The cream spinach needed a spoon, too liquidity.

    The service was amazing, but the food was disappointing. We were also put in a side room where the ambience wasn't what we expected. Probably wouldn't go back, but I wouldn't tell anyone to stay away. Go try for yourself, if you like steak and wine you'll probably be happy enough.

    The Petit filet was amazing! Ahi tuna appetizer and cheesecake dessert also fantastic. The only bad thing was the dining area we sat in felt like an old hotel lobby/ conference room. Was not a great ambiance at all. However, the bar/front area looked more appealing so would go back and sit there.

    Both the steak (medium rare) and the pork chop were tough and bland with little flavor. The sweet potato casserole was delicious, but the Ruth’s signature chopped salad resembled bag lettuce piled high with fried onions. The Manhattan Eastside cocktail was delicious. Our server was excellent. Overall good, but prices not justified imo.

    Great Date Night, food excellent, service excellent! Hostess was starring at my husband last night. :)) That's ok I received it as a compliment. We will be back again! Thank you guys for helping us have a great date night!
