Time and time again this restaurant delivers for us !!!!...We love everything about Quality !!!.....and more of the set menu's please...it makes it a bit more affordable !!!
Celebrating its 150th year The Quality Chop House was fantastic, the food beautifully cooked and very nicely presented. Great service friendly knowledgeable staff. An experience to remember and repeat.
Out of fillet on a Monday night and the sirloin was a bad cut! For a steak house I would expect more options and better quality meat. Not sure why they charge so much for the quality being served. Would not go again.
Incredible Sunday lunch at a very reasonable price considering the quality. Could barely move after like, happily stuffed.
30 years and still the most incredible restaurant. Food is simply extremely well judged, letting ingredients and technique shine.
Service was kind and generous.
We had the tasting menu for the 150th anniversary of the Quality Chop House. This was extremely good value and all the courses were excellent. The main course was a heroic portion of roast beef - it was divine! The staff were friendly and the service was well orchestrated so we didn't feel rushed throughout our meal.
A delicious meal with great service.
Certainly worth a visit, there's a wine bar next door too.
So good! Amazing food, excellent wine. Can't wait to go back and try the rest.
V good quality meat and service was friendly and good. V enjoyable for a group of friends in a cosy booth. Thoroughly recommend.
I think this might be my favourite restaurant in London. The food is INCREDIBLE!!!
Outstanding. Couldn’t be faulted anywhere. Special mention for the service which was superb and of course the food and ambiance were first class. A game changer.
One of the best experiences of the past year. The food was fantastic, the special menu great value, we were well looked after throughout the evening. Even mygluten allergy was treated with kindness and understanding. 5*
Went for Sunday lunch @£35 / head. Mains (beef roast and pork roast) were lovely, dessert (lemon tart and cheese) lovely, starters were just a bit heavy (I had rillettes). Not cheap at £5 for a 330ml beer, but nice atmosphere and attentive service. Would recommend.
Outstanding in every respect. High-quality ingredients, precise cooking, great drinks list and authoritative service.
Second time here, previously with colleagues but this time with husband. Had the 150th anniversary menu, excellent value and outstanding food. Very good service also particularly by a New Zealand guy who we chatted to. We’ll definitely be back soon.
I have been coming to Quality from
The days of the Face Magazine who had their offices around the corner. It was the regular stop off , en route to the Eagle for late night boozing .
But this has got to be the best meal I have ever had there .we opted for the Set Menu celebrating its 150 years ( mad !!)
That little kebab thing has got to be the best thing I have put in my mouth this year .
The staff, wine , everything we just loved !!!... That Shaun can cook a thing !!!
The QCH is such a unique, unfussy restaurant where the menu choice is always a wonderful surprise with taste combinations that work so well. We came here on Saturday to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and this is probably our fifth visit. The food and service were excellent as always.
Great saturday family lunch venue with delicious food
We had the 150 anniversary menu, which was a delight, and amazing value for money at £45. The service was friendly, helpful and efficient. Great experience.
Absolutely fantastic, easily one of the best in London!
Had a great meal at the Quality Chop House opting for the very reasonably priced 159th anniversary set menu. Very generous portions, great wine and charming service contributed to the success of the evening.
Really good again, only reservation is that the prices seem to have headed up a bit, but most enjoyable, will be back
Just a great place to spend 3-4hours with friends who i don't see enough of. Superb.
Sunday lunch at the Quality Chop House was very good. I shared the lamb for 2 and it was excellent. A cosy table as usual, with any stiffness negated by liberal consumption of the wine on offer!
The food was delicious and memorable. We first ate at QCH 29 years ago and it was wonderful to renew memories
It's an absolutely wonderful experience, everything about the food is quality, delicious and memorable. The service is wonderful and it's a lovely place to spend with a group or a partner.
Terrific Sunday roast. Great value and service. Room is characterful but unusual. Some will love the church pew booths; others may find them a little cramped.
Great place to go to celebrate a birthday. Food was delicious; set lunch excellent value; service great.
An excellent mid week lunch with family - close enough to King's Cross to break our journey.
Amazing food, will return x
Beautiful, simple food, superbly made. Friendly, attentive staff, and a lovely setting. Highly recommended.
Cool, old-school vibe. Beautiful historic building. A great place worth checking out but stay for a drink. Food is very bland and a little overpriced.
Food was fantastic and very great quality and value. The only thing I would put down as a negative was the bench style tables, they were very narrow and got uncomfortable after a while.
The Sunday Roast was superb! Definitely worth a trip.
Everything about this place is wonderful. Looking forward to our next visit.
During our trip to London we have passed two evenings at the Quality Chop House. The first evening as couple, the second evening with our children. Both evenings we enjoyed very much, the quality of the food and the preparation was outstanding, the service very welcoming. We also liked the dining room for its authentic ambiance. We would recommand this adress to everyone.
I booked an early table at the Chop House which I’ve always loved but haven’t been for years spurred on by a food writer friend’s post on Instagram @slowdownandeat (Susan Low of Delicious magazine) and we shared a steak, legendary confit potato bricks and Parmesan broccoli on top of a couple of yummy starters and an order of elegant croquettes. Too much food to finish, but tasty and the ambience is fantastic
Fantastic food and a good wine selection. Waiters had good knowledge of the dishes and drinks offerings and were very attentive. The confit potatoes were a revelation!
Amazing as usual - Thanks James for the great lunch!
