   My shrimp scampi, was very good but the shrimp were small, and not as described, jumbo. The meatloaf was delicious, as was the trout. Our server seemed pressured as the restaurant was very busy. We were extremely disappointed that a 3% surcharge is added to the bill if using a credit card and $1.00 is added for cocktails served “up”. The 3% is on the menu in fine print. These charges should be absorbed by the owner, not the patrons.

   Restaurant adds 3% to the check for using a credit card. That’s a business expense that all businesses pay. We are moving to a cashless society. This is outrageous. It should be disclosed when making the reservation, not in tiny print hidden on the menu.

   Our server, Anna, was very attentive. She came over shortly after we were seated and asked if we had dined here previously. She let us know tge menu changes seasonally and gave recommendations. She answered all questions we had with the menu. Once we received our food, she checked in to make sure everything was to our liking. The food and drinks are tasty and fullmof flavor. The whole experience was phenomenal.

   White Dog Wayne has been really consistent over the past couple of years. Delicious Tuna/Crab Tartare appetizer and a Thai Steak salad entree were very good. Nice wines. Excellent service.

   First time eating here. We had brunch, and it was really good. I’m not sure about other locations, but the location in Wayne was tops. We’ll come back!

    We always enjoy coming to White Dog for brunch on the patio with our dogs. The brunch bread and mushroom soup and omelette are stand-outs.

    We had a wonderful dining experience at White Dog Cafe. Our server was attentive and very helpful in directing us to delicious choices. We loved the Hawaiian rolls, pork belly appertizer and mussels. For entrees we loved the Spicy Lamb pasta, trout and mahi mahi. We followed this with a wonderful creme brulee dessert. The atmosphere was lovely and fun. We will definitely return!

    We got a gift card to this restaurant as a thank you for a dog sitting, so we are truly dog lovers. The whole place is dog themed with pictures of all kinds of breeds of dogs all over the walls. I felt happy as soon as I walked in there. As for the food and drinks, everything was top quality and our server Anna did a wonderful job. We will definitely be back!

    Christina, our server, was great. The food was great! The cocktails were wonderful. Our soups were served with panache. The room was a bit noisy because of a large exuberant group. The only downside was that our table was very wobbly. We didn’t complain, not us, and it did not diminish the overall experience.

    We sat in a quiet corner, enjoyed a delectable light lunch (mac & cheese and beet & arugula salad). The server was charming and attentive: available but not intrusive.

    We dined for brunch today and the meal was outstanding! I got the Lancaster County omelet and my husband got the Kennet Square mushroom omelet, both were excellent! We finished off with the donuts…yum!!! The service was impeccable, too…she was pleasant and attentive! We will be back!!!

    Ordered a speciality steak off the menu and it was the worst I’ve ever had. They served it without seasoning and it was chewy to the extreme despite asking for medium. It came with a hash that was so oily, it was barely edible. The service staff though friendly was forgetful and I had to ask multiple times to get sauce and seasoning for the bland food. Ambience was really nice but the pretty decor and fancy chairs did not mean comfort. Overall, the food is was horrible and over priced. I will not recommend this place to anyone.

    The trout is outstanding, and I was left wishing for a bit more. For the price, the portions are a bit smaller than I would have liked. A small grumble, but the experience and food were excellent!

    I have been at the White Dog several times. This time I was completely unimpressed. The food was average at best. The waitress was very nice but we weren't offered bread with our meal which was disappointing. A salad and an omelet was WAY over priced. I probably will not be returning any time soon. What a shame-used to be really good.

    Overall good experience! Had a reservation at 1pm through Open Table - didn’t end up getting seated until about 1:45pm. Other than that, food was good, service was great, loved sitting in the library section of the restaurant!

    Everything was fabulous..from the greeter to our waiter, Leonardo, who absolutely delightful, to the food which is always dependable and the ambiance of muffled voices and soft lights. The one crazy thing that got us, though, was the fee charged for using our credit card. 🤷‍♀️

    I took my two kids to dinner and we had a great experience. G was our waiter and suggested great food, especially for our 8 year old who I wasn’t sure would be patient enough for a nicer sit down. I can’t wait to come back and bring the rest of our family. Thank you, G!
