   Excellent food, nice service and a warm welcome for our anniversary celebrations. The food was truly excellent, served very quickly and the drink and dessert selection was also great. Looking forward to eating there again soon.

   I have been a customer of Wallace's Taverna for years and I can see the quality has been getting worse and worse with time. The pizza base is soggy, the food is not amazing anymore. With desserts specifically, what has happened to the fantastic tiramisu you used to have? I am very disappointed and I'm afraid I won't be going back anymore.

   We went to Wallace's Taverna as a family for Mother's day. Service was excellent. Food was amazing. Pork belly Starter was delicious. Staff were absolutely incredible, so kind and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back.

    Tables are sticky.. not cleaned properly! Seafood not fresh... prawns are frozen I suspect. My date was very surprised by no panna cotta and chose to have no desert.. (she previously lived in Italy) I did enjoy the desert I selected which was the only tasty part that I can say was positive. Sitting on a window sill is not very comfortable.. I appreciate it allows for more seating.. but the seats were to close together and not very romantic as stated on the website. Overall disappointing and I am not going to return. The muscles were tiny, whole prawn was not fresh, razor clam tasteless... Terrible waste of 65 euro (80 euro after the tip as the staff were very pleasant.. but don't know how to clen tables)

    Pizza is amazing - loads of Italian wines but other drinks options are limited/unusual. Great spot for casual meal with friends or as a date.

    Visited Wallace's at the weekend and it certainly lived up to expectations. Burrata starter was served with the most amazing juicy tomatoes, and the Milk Chocolate Bavarese dessert was probably the best I've ever had - tiramisu was lovely as well. We ordered the least expensive white wine and even that was wonderful - really great evening all in all!

    I came here with my boyfriend, mum and dad for my birthday. Being from England this was our first time coming to Ireland and I chose here completely randomly and am so glad I did! The food was amazing (slightly over priced but so is everywhere in Dublin really). I highly recommend the beef cheek it was one of the best things I've ever eaten. My mums ravioli was to die for too. They used uncooked pasta for straws in my cocktail a quirky idea me and my dad loved. They gave us a free dessert with a candle for my birthday which was very appreciated. The staff made sure we were well looked after for the entirety of our visit. If you're looking for a fancy place that actually earns it's high prices this is the place for you, can not recommend enough.

    The sharing antipasti starter was absolutely delicious. I'd go back again for that alone. The place is lovely and prices are reasonable. A perfect spot for a catchup with friends or family or a casual date.

    Went for valentines and our waitress came took order got one round drinks and never came back at any point to see if we needed anything else or how the food was Never even came back to see if needed salt or pepper at table Yet she went other tables to see what they needed Not sure I would go back

    Seated downstairs opposite the bar - but unfortunately the music was very loud and lead to customers talking even louder to allow conservation which took away greatly from the experience. While the server was highly attentive there was a rushed element to the service which made it feel like a cafe rather a relaxed restaurant atmosphere. The first time (seated upstairs) was a much better experience, highly attentive staff. Excellent food but just some feedback really.

    The space was cozy and so inviting. The waiter was very polite and happy, offering help with the menu. The food was amazing; bruschetta was fresh and the bread had the perfect amount of crispiness. Th ravioli of the day (venison) was delicious, but a very small portion; it should come with a side salad for the cost. The pizzas were delicious and a much better value for money. The mains are quite pricey. I would definitely return, but for pizza only.
