   Great salmon orzo plate with large portion, good sized salad for co-diner. Waiter checked back re: drinks. Food arrived promptly..we could talk to each other over the table (not always the case nowadays!). And this was inside...look forward to their patio opening this season.

   Overall Union Street is good. Excellent GF options - which is why we chose it here. Prices are high for what you get. We sat in the downstairs Room, decor is a bit standard pub type and service was a bit slow down there. Music from the speakers was very loud. Food was good - no complaints there.

   Scrambled eggs on two plates were cold upon being served, and more importantly, restaurant was already out of signature/staple beignets on the early and relatively empty side of Sunday brunch (we had a 12:15pm seating and the place was maybe 25% full) … how can that be??

    We dined on a Sunday afternoon - not overly busy at 1:00. My two dining companions had not previously been to Union Street. I had, but always dining outside. This was a first experience dining inside. The server - Kristen T - was excellent - highly responsive but not hovering; "just right"! The food was excellent, as well - Backyard Burger, Farro Harvest Bowl and Classic Caesar Salad. The price was perhaps a smidge high, but given the current economy and inflated prices at many restaurants, it was both expected and reasonable. I had previously enjoyed my dining experiences and look forward to returning, as do, I am happy to say, my other dining companions!

    Patio experience was mediocre (this was in October, perhaps it’s better in Summer?). Food was average. Service was very slow in the patio. And we didn’t care for the mouse that was running around on the deck, not a pleasant sight while trying to eat!

    It was not a good experience. The worst thing is that I saw a mouse on the seats and I am lucky that it was while we were paying. Never again.

    We were seated downstairs which was quiet. The only problem for me personally was that the table was up on a ledge. When leaving the table I forgot the ledge, but managed to avoid falling on the floor and hurting myself ( sic).

    Our appetizer order was forgotten and the server never checked back on us. Our meals came. She never checked on us. We were most of the way done and we hadn't even seen her, so finally my husband stood up and walked to the other side of the dinning room to ask her about it! It was pretty poor.

    The staff members here were kind enough to accommodate us at an outside patio table despite the cool temps, even turning on a heater for our comfort. Food was really good—not just standard pub fare. Would definitely return for both the friendly service and the excellent eats!

    A bit loud but fun. Good band. Nice area to dance. Wasn't too crowded but would be better if band could tone down a bit. I needed my ear plugs.

    We wondered because some recent reviews weren't great, but the food was wonderful. All six of us enjoyed our entrees. The fish was excellent and the peanut chicken salad delicious! Also enjoyed were the shrimp Po boy, the steak, and a burger. The patio is lively and it's so nice that they take reservations for the outside tables! Service got a bit slow when it got very busy, but everyone was pleasant and we weren't in a hurry. It was a great place for a casual family dinner.

    Server was terrible. Spoke so broken English. Food was terrible. Seating was varied and some chairs were Broken. Service was slow. Food was not fresh. Bummer

    Cool outdoor dining area tucked away down a strange little alley, but a beautiful huge deck with tons of outdoor seating options. Good menu, kind of upscale pub food. They have gluten free options which is great for me and my wife. Enjoyed it after the BC Football game.

    Don't go here if you want to eat. Or drink for that matter. Peanut sesame chicken bowl was made with uncooked bagged pre-shredded purple cabbage as the main ingredient and few sad strips of chicken. Basically inedible. Sent it back. Beyond Burger would have been ok, but was served lukewarm with cold fries. Ate it because we were hungry. Chicken parm sandwich made with frozen cutlet, not unlike McDonalds version. Drinks were crazy expensive. 4oz cosmo was $17. Vodka sodas were $13 a piece. I don't mind paying $13 for an inventive craft cocktail that takes time to make, but a vodka soda?? They left the bad chicken bowl on the bill (had to ask to have it removed) and said the drinks were so expensive because of inflation. Really. We went out for pizza after this disastrous experience. Only plus was waitstaff was working hard and doing their best.

    I love this place! I went with new coworkers and we had a blast! The food and drinks were great and we were able to hear live music from the outdoor patio. Our server was great! I will definitely be back!

    A lovely old building, which used to be a wonderful restaurant, is now a noisy large space full of tv’s. The patio is probably the best choice here if you don’t want the sports bar scene. The drink menu is pretty good but the food was very disappointing.

    Never a bad meal here. A bar that serves wonderful food is a great find. I told my waitstaff that I liked my burger medium rare, and it was perfect. Very kind people here and the beer selection is amazing.

    Lovely patio, and cool in the 90+ temps. Good food quality and service was good. Only complaint is the price - $70 inc tip, for 2, just a main course and a single beverage each.

    The kitchen made a mistake but the server made it right. We ordered a plate of nachos for the table. A minute after the server delivered it, staff brought the main dishes, before any of us had more than tasted the nachos. After we commented to the server, she acknowledged the kitchen’s mistake. She returned a few minutes later to report that the nachos had been removed from the bill. I appreciate the efforts in making up for mistake’iidd

    Food and cocktails were good, and the outdoor seating was fantastic. Service was on the slower side, we didn’t end up placing our entree order until 45 minutes after being seated, but the food came out relatively quickly.
