I found my particular waitress argumentative. After I was disappointed to learn that they did not serve wine or any alcohol, it occurred to me that perhaps they could allow us to BYOB as is done by numerous restaurants in New York State and elsewhere. When I got up and asked her if that could work, she did not leave it alone after I accepted her negative answer. She added insult to injury by saying, "I thought we covered this at the table." At that, I know longer felt respected as a customer.
Before I start so you know "NYS law does't allow business without liquor licence BYOB" We will set the story straight! We don't have a liquor license, of which your party was informed of before you looked at the menu. You then proceeded to follow your wait staff to the rear of the restaurant and asked if you could bring in wine, once again we explained that's not allowed by law. You continued to be rude and extremely arrogant.
Amazing food and the staff was so amazing. The chef even comes out and asks how everything was, the answer is always “Amazing.”
Food is always delicious, lots of personal attention, and the music was wonderful.
Impeccable service to go with exceptional food. I used to go here when it was a pizza place and I didn’t even believe I was sitting in the same place. Once they get the bar up and running with the live talent on Friday’s this place will be an exciting addition to the heart of Ellenville. Seriously go and try this gem of a place. You won’t regret.
