Simon and Tania Johnson have owned Tinamba Hotel since October 2020 and feel honoured to be the custodians of the hotel’s proud heritage as they build upon a vision from previous owners, Brad Neilson, Damien Gannon, the Schoenmaeker and Whelan families.

Using the finest, locally grown fresh produce from local suppliers and working with the most talented chefs in the region is what the Johnsons believe sets Tinamba Hotel apart. The signature dishes deliver a truly memorable experience, served in a setting famously known as Gippsland’s favourite destination dining venue.

Have visited Tinamba hotel on many occasions in the past as a venue for catchups with friends or special occasions. However this time we were disappointed with the offerings on the restaurant menu and 3 of us opted to have chicken schnitzel from the bar menu. The fourth chose the swordfish which was very small portion and she said that she should also have opted for the schnitzel. Sides were of decent size. Service and staff were good. The venue is lovely but restaurant food could be better.

Had a fantastic experience at the Tinamba Hotel. From the moment we walked in we were warmly greeted and made to feel welcome. The service from every staff member was attentive, friendly and professional throughout the entire visit. The food was excellent and beautifully presented, and the overall atmosphere made for such an enjoyable experience. It’s rare to find a venue where everything is consistently so well done — we honestly couldn’t fault a thing. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

We had such a wonderful time for my partner's 40th birthday! The staff were unbelievably wonderful, so accommodating and friendly (we brought our two pups along and dined outdoors). The food was delicious and we loved the wine pairings. We'll be going back again in a few weeks time!
