The food here is gorgeous, it is so much more than just gastro pub food. The produce and flavours are fantastic and for what you get it is really great value for money. The wine list is fantastic with such a broad offering and it’s brilliant to be able to order by the glass, carafe or bottle on such a wide range of wines. We sat in the courtyard which felt like such an escape from being in central London. The staff are friendly and pleasant and very hard working, the one recommendation would be to hire more/have more working as they seemed to be stretched a little thinly but nevertheless they were knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. Thank you for a brilliant evening!

I have been to this restaurant many times before and in general found the food of a good standard but quite expensive for what it is, The decor and ambience are pleasant though the service has always been erratic. The last time I went however the service was so slow and inattentive that I think it is unlikely I will return.

We were impressed by the friendly staff and excellent service. The garden offers multiple outdoor seating options, creating a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. The food was outstanding—especially the Sunday Roast, which stands out as the best in the area. The oysters were also spectacular. While it's not the most budget-friendly option, it's a fantastic treat for those looking to indulge in quality dining.

Very nice food. Service was quite slow but fine as we were in no rush. Trip was slightly marred by two other groups of loud guests. Would recommend and return

The food at Princess Royal is always very good but on this visit there was a problem with our booking and our table which left us feeling a little disappointed by the experience.
