Fabulous all the way around. The Oysters Rockefeller were to die for!
The Palms is always a lovely place to dine, I go there often. The food, service and ambience is always very good.
Great food and great service… piano player was awesome.
The menu seems old school. The wine list is short and uninspired. The palm tower is visually appealing and has nice flavor but is difficult to eat. The sea bass was 33% more than the menu on the website. I get that prices change but that is a big jump. The flavors were good but the fish was a little salty and the risotto overcooked. Service was okay but certainly not up to standards of a high end restaurant. Particularly bad was the hostess. She seemed disinterested in doing her job. Overall I would not recommend and would not return.
We were a party of 4 enjoying our annual Christmas celebration. Our table was ready on time and our drinks, appetizers and dinner were all served on a timely basis. The appetizers and dinner entrees were delicious. We highly recommended this hidden gem. Enjoy 😉
We went out on parents night out. Our server was so personable with great recommendations. I have dietary restrictions so she was able to help us figure out what would be ok for me to eat.
It was our first time visiting and we will be back.
Loved the Louis Martini Cabernet. I had the sea bass which was delicious. Hubby had steak also cooked as ordered.
Dinner with mom always special
The service, the food and the ambiance is superb!
Excellent Service. Love the Ambiance. Best steak in town and wonderful wine list.
For the price you pay to eat here I expected much much better service. Sadly this was not the case. Food was amazing, service was not.
Our waitress Cassandra was excellent. The support staff was also very friendly and on top of everything. Food was excellent and because it was our anniversary, they brought us a baklava desert. My wife loved the cocktails Cassandra recommended.
The cocktails, sides, and desserts were all outstanding. However, our steaks were both overcooked.
The Palms was our choice for a quiet business dinner on a Monday night. We've always enjoyed the stellar service, atmosphere and usually we raved about the food. While our server was exceptional and the atmosphere great as always, both of the entrees served were disappointing. I requested the sea bass, with an alternative to the mushroom/green pea risotto due to allergies. Not only was the fish served on the mushroom/green pea risotto, the fish arrived gelatinous and uncooked. The other entree was the crusted fish and their fish was grossly overcooked. Unfortunately one of our favorite restaurants did not live up to their usual high standards this week.
Brought my wife for our first anniversary. loved the food and music. will definitely come again
Lovely space, awesome food! Great service, will defiantly be back!
The services and food was absolutely amazing! Worth every penny
The food and service was spot on incredible. We had calamari and steaks. The rib eye and New York was so flavorful. The brussels sprout chowder was also very tasty.
My only complaint was the side room were were seated was very noisy and the echo didn't help. There were a couple tables that were very loud for a fine dining experience. I would prefer the main dining room next time. Other than the noise, I highly recommend the Palms to everyone. The food and service are very high standard.
We had a delightful dinner at The Palms. The Palm tower was delicious and full of fresh fish. Our server was kind and attentive and it felt like a romantic date night even though our child was with us. Can’t wait to go back. Thanks
We love celebrating our anniversary at The Palms. The food is always fabulous as well as the ambience. The service is wonderful and so are the cocktails and wine.
The ambiance, service, presentation and yummy food....The entire experience was outstanding! . . . .Will come back again. . . .
Where to start? This was my first and last time eating here. Not what I expected for a high end restaurant. Atmosphere and ambiance was not cozy or welcoming at all. It was loud with a "wedding singer" singing in the background was God awful. The service was poor. Lets just say that I had better service at lower end restaurants. I asked for a second cocktail and the server forgot about it. If you want to be considered a high end restaurant in the same breath as Ruths Chris, you need to step up to the plate and go above and beyond the customer service. Cracked Pepper should train every high end restaurant in town to show what service is.
The food...OMG the food! The filet mignon was overcooked. The seabass, risotto and side of vegetables were undercooked. The mashed potatoes were under seasoned. When it came to the dessert, WE SKIPPED IT! After what we experienced and what I saw coming out as dessert from a neighboring table we decided to get our check and took our leftovers to feed to our dogs. At least they enjoyed the steak and seabass.
So for dessert, we ended up to our favorite joint, Cracked Pepper! Most days, they don't disappoint and if they do, at least their customer service is impeccable! We sat at the bar and the bartenders at Cracked Pepper did not disappoint. We had the bread pudding, lemon creme brûlée and Ampersand Honeycomb ice cream while sipping on my old fashion and my wife on her girly martini. We spent more time having dessert @ Cracked Pepper than our dinner @ Palms. Never again! So for those reading this review, go to Cracked Pepper, Ruths Chris or even Yosemite Ranch for better service and better food.
Great menu selection
Quite allowing customers to enjoy table talk
Have used private banquet room for small parties of 12 on two occasions …both successful ….waitstaff brought all entrees out at once… quite impressive
Entrees were excellent. Appetizers about average. Probably would not order any next time.
Drinks very good and reasonably priced.
Tried the wedge salad…not very tasty; too many crispy onions on top.
Went here for my fiancé’s birthday and had the worse service ever. The food was good and the atmosphere was perfect for a special occasion but after 27 minutes we had to stop another server and ask her to get us drinks. I was so disappointed. This was my first time here & Im sad to say I will never be going back. The evening could have been absolutely perfect had the service been better.
Food, service, and menu variety were great.
The piano player so much too loud. All four of us were distracted by the high volume of the live performance.
It was our 1st anniversary, nice dinner
Worst experience we have had at a high end restaurant. We arrive at our preset time of 5:15 and we ordered two drinks a house special and a gin & tonic for myself. I noticed the tonic tasted like soda water and the waitress said she asked someone to change a tank then she came back to our table and said they were out of tonic so I ordered wine. We had already ordered our appetizers which came out fast and since we were only the second couple in the restaurant this was perfect.
At approximately 6:35 one hour after we finished our appetizer we still did not have our meal meanwhile the restaurant was now packed and people that came in 45 minutes after us were all getting served. It seems the waitress never submitted our dinner ticket till late and she apologized profusely. The owner walked by and asked us if everything was alright and we said no but she just continued walking and ignored us. We waited another 10 minutes and then decided to leave and pay for our appetizers and wine. At the register a man who said he was the owner asked what was wrong and then he turned his back on us and walked away. I get that stuff happens at a busy restaurant but a simple “we are sorry” from the owner would have went a long wait instead we got the impression they could care less what happened which is not right,
Attentive wait staff
Great menu selections
All plates were prepared to our specifications
Excellent food & service
Excellent food and service! Very friendly staff and live music. Thanks a lot for our wonderful evening!
The best chop I've had in life, hands down. Feels like a family owned business, great food, great service, great atmosphere.
Fabulous meal and service. Very accommodating. Atmosphere is beautiful.
Service was slow. Waitress stumbled over all of the items she described. Food quality, variety and quantity were excellent. The hostess and owner never smile.
Table was not level, distracting.love the live music.
Fabulous ambiance and delicious meal for each of us.
Food was delicious, would return. Ambiance just wasn’t what we were expecting. It was nice, don’t get me wrong, but just was a little different than what we were expecting. Will come back with a different mind set.
Great food and service!
