    La location era esattamente come l’avevo vista nelle foto ha una vista eccezionale . Ho pranzato e mi sono ripromesso di andare anche di sera perché alla sera tolgono i tendoni e la terrazza ha il suo massimo L’accoglienza appena entrato nel bar devo dire pessima. Il barista con la testa girata ha fatto fatica a salutare ovviamente con una faccia molto lontana dal sorriso. Location eccezionale cibo eccezionale . Lo Staff fa fatica a vedere le necessità di Tavoli .

    A special birthday treat which did not disappoint. Superb service and care from every member of staff. Cocktails were delicious, and we ordered the prawn Caesar salad and linguine vongole primi, with branzino secondi. All dishes were exquisite and lunch for 2 cost under €300. Will definitely go again when in Venice.

    Outstanding setting in such a romantic city. If your dream is to dine on scrumptious food as you watch gondolas float down the Grand Canal this is your spot. Ask for a corner or window table for the best view and you will not be disappointed. The food was excellent and moderately priced, the wine menu extensive but overpriced. The service was excellent and you are definitely not hurried so be prepared to enjoy a long and enjoyable lunch

    Great restaurant with a lovely view. Was a bit on the expensive side but it was for a birthday treat. They do seem to look after the guests that are staying at the hotel better but we still had a nice lunch and they even bought out a tiramisu with a candle on it for free

    A wonderful location at the canal! Best view and atmosphere! Excellent service and great food! We really enjoyed every minute of it. It was one of our best experiences in Venice!

    Wow, the view is excellent, the prices are outrageous. 10 euros for still water, 38 euros for a club sandwich. The service was slow at best. 12.50 euros per person basically a cover charge. Caesar Salad , 38 euros. With a glass of wine total bill, 110 euros. Not worth half of that!!

    Amazing location but the cost of the drinks and other extras is hard to justify. Euros 12 for cover charge per person (ie bread) is crazy given the already very high prices for the food. Euros 30 for an Aperol Spritz, again way to high. Food was good but not memorable. We went for the view and setting so fair enough but better and better value quality food available elsewhere in Venice.

    The experience of being at such in a lovely setting is the reason why we chose to go here. The service, food and beverages would all rank highly. But the experience is what calls. Had a wonderful afternoon.

    This restaurant has the most lovely location, right on the canal. It really can't get better than this for a romantic meal. Service is excellent and food is very delicious too. It is on the pricey side however, so do check the menu before you go if you don't fancy spending twice the price for almost anything on the menu :) We were happy to pay a premium given the view we had, and the fact that it felt exclusive and cut off from the noisy and busy Venecian streets.

    Completely oerpriced for fair food. Menu was limited and variations were not welcomed. Server was pompous and difficult to find. Asked for the check 3 times and finally we all got up and I had to pay whilst standing next to service computer. From first ask for the check to me finalizing payment, 30 minutes. Waste of time.

    We went to celebrate a big birthday, the terrace for drinks is lovely as is the restaurant. The food was lovely. Was it worth the ££££ I'd probably say no. I had a lovely seabass and sorbet. The views and ambience certainly make up for £££ and as it was a special birthday, so it was a lovely treat. Inside the hotel is very grand and pretty too.

    Overpriced and overrated but the view is beautiful. We ordered a Cheesburger and pasta. The cheeseburger was raw and the pasta was bland. There is much better food in Venice available for a fraction of the cost. I would not recommend the Gritti Terrace.

    Pricey but unbelievable way to kick off our trip in Venice. Absolutely gorgeous views of the grand canal and incredible service. Went for lunch and had an amazing time and a cheaper way to experience the grandeur of the 5 star luxury hotel life

    We went to the Gritti initially for late lunch and then again for dinner on a different day. Both experiences were superb. The restaurant is expensive but you are paying just for very good food; the location and the views are phenomenal especially in a warm late spring evening! The staff were friendly and the service excellent and they looked after us very well. The food was very good at lunchtime exceptional at dinner with inventive plates I have not come across before but also superb cooking. We have been to many very nice restaurants but this was a dinning experience we will not forget at least for a very long time!

    The view is lovely, but the food was poor and definitely not worth the high prices they charge. This was our only poor meal we had in Venice. The servers are not friendly as well.

    Being on the water is beautiful but the food was very forgettable. We have paid the same high price for more flavorful and interesting food. Here you are really paying for the location.
