The Fox and Hounds is a gastro pub and restaurant, nestling in the heart of the beautiful village of Whittlebury, South Northamptonshire. We’re just a stone’s throw from the home of motor sport – Silverstone – and close to the market towns of Towcester, Brackley and Buckingham.

Inside, the team have created a comfortable and welcoming environment, perfect for you to relax, socialise, eat and unwind. Open to the whole family.

Our Head Chef has created a menu for all tastes and occasions. From a light bite or traditional pub food in the bar, to modern brasserie dishes served in one of our dining rooms, we cater for every occasion.

    This was a real find. Service was friendly and efficient. The foot was outstanding. Crab salad was delicious and we all enjoyed our main courses and deserts as well. Will be returning!

    A nice welcome, and shown to table….. food and drinks taken and all arrived in a good time…….. Fish n chips all round today…… delicious and a good portion size….. Thank you, see you again soon.

    We had the most incredible meal and stay, would recommend to everyone! All the staff were so accommodating, the food was impeccable, and the room was so clean and comfy. 5 stars all round!

    Another very enjoyable visit to the Fox and Hounds. Excellent menu ranging from traditional pub dishes, such as burgers and fish and chips to a delicious variety of alternatives, all presented professionally with nice touches.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at the Fox and hounds. The staff were friendly and very accommodating, the food was amazing and we felt good value. We would definitely recommend.

    Probably the best pub meal we’ve had for quite a long time. Food was really good as was the service and friendliness of the staff. Only downside-which many wouldn’t mind was other diners left so early there was not the lively atmosphere I prefer. Don’t be put off by this-just my preference as the food was very good Will definitely be back
