For over three decades, The Drover has been the place to go in Omaha, Nebraska for a good steak. The rustic, vintage decor and dim lighting adds to the traditional steakhouse ambiance. Reservations are encouraged at The Drover due to its popularity.The signature whiskey marinade, available on cuts, such as the filet and the ribeye, is what sets The Drover apart from other steakhouses in the area. Shrimp, chicken and seafood entrees are all also available should a guest prefer an alternative to red meat. Burgers, appetizers and soups are options for those looking for lighter fare. No visit is complete without a trip to the salad bar. Not only is it a healthy choice, it is also known as one of the first salad bars in Omaha.

                                                  It looks so nice from the inside, feels very cozy and you can look also in how they make the steaks. The food was amazing and the service even more. Good ambiance.

                                                  Great place for steaks!!!! Had the whiskey steak. It is very delicious. Salad bar is great also. Definitely a good place to go for steaks

                                                  My wife and I went here for our 3 year wedding anniversary. Food was fantastic. Can’t go wrong with getting the whiskey filet. The salad bar was really good as well. We decided to split an espresso martini and key lime pie for dessert and it was a perfect way to end our meal. Service was pretty good, especially with it being very busy. The only real complaint was the noise level, as we were seated near a large table that was pretty loud. Overall the experience was great and we will be back.

                                                  3 of us all ordered 8oz whiskey filets. 1 medium, 2 MR. The two MR we could hardly cut and very stringy. The medium melted in your mouth. We must have had bad cuts. Cool place though.

                                                  Every yearly or more often trip from Tempe, Arizona to Omaha includes a dinner at the Drover--our favorite place for a special night out when we lived in Omaha many years ago.

                                                  The food was, as always, wonderful and was cooked to a perfection. However, service on this night in particular was quite slow with little checking or communication from staff on site. I understand it is a cooked to order meal in a busy restaurant but even considering that I’d call the experience impacted by the service
