Friend and I took advantage of the afternoon tea offer. We had a wonderful afternoon - lovely relaxed atmosphere, beautiful setting (we loved the four seasons artwork on the wall), attentive staff and excellent tea, champagne, sandwiches and cakes. Highly recommended.

The Crescent is a real haven. A very civilised way to spend the afternoon. A good selection of teas and the staff were very attentive without being intrusive

The food was good and everybody liked what they ate. The set menu had 3-starters, 3-mains, and 3-deserts which offered plenty of choice. Portions were a fair size as I, usually the big eater, was sated, and my wife, who usually has plenty left over for me, almost finished everything. Wait staff were pleasant, and the highly polished decor provided a nice environment to eat quietly with our friends while still being able to host other larger parties on New Years Eve.

The Crescent, Marylebone Went here on a business lunch and we were one of the only diners there! Shame as its a nice restaurant, friendly staff and good food. Had the fish platters which were nice, only criticism is that the tempura prawns could have been a bit more crispy.

The Montcalm in London is serene and efficient. Good helpings of savoury and sweet snacks. Tea was rather too weak but staff are ready to amend any mistakes.

Vetro was a last minute booking and whilst the food was OK (I had Penne, which was adequete, lacked substance and slightly bland, my client had fish which was very good) the ambience and atmosphere was non existent. Service was friendly but given we were one of Three diners there, it was a little slow.
