Servizio veloce
Nonostante la vicinanza a Time Square il locale ha mantenuto la sua storica atmosfera. Molto professionale tutto il personale. Qualità del cibo buona. Da tenere sempre presente per cenare a Time Square.
The hot chocolate was served cold which was disappointing. The waffle grilled cheese was dry and did not have enough cheese. The burger was greasy and bun completely fell apart while eating. Totally not worth the money we paid for diner food but I guess since it’s New York that’s what you should expect. Waitress was nice but would not go back.
My veggie burger literally collapsed when I picked it up, had to eat it with a knife and fork and scoop up bites. It was tasty, however. I chose to substitute salad for the French fries, and that was a mistake, the salad was "bland" and uninteresting. Waitress was very attentive, however, and it was a great location for before theatre dining.
Went there for Sunday breakfast, waffles and pancakes were cold when they were served the butter didn’t even melt, some people like real maple syrup we aren’t particularly fond so that wasn’t to our liking and they don’t have breakfast potatoes only polenta that has a bit of a bite to it that isnt to out liking either.I’m sure it’s fine for people that aren’t so picky.
very, very good!
delicious food, very friendly service.
we‘ll come back!
Great experience and food
Had a fantastically engaging and enjoyable waitress.
We enjoyed our Christmas breakfast with family. Genevieve, our waitress, was amazing and attentive.
Food very mediocre
Brooklyn Diner Times Square was a lovely respite from our busy day in New York. The food was excellent, the waiter attentive and friendly, and the cost reasonable. I highly recommend.
Pricey! $22 hot dog? C’mon now. Food decent, very good service
Food and service were superb
Items on the menu not available Food cold Service fair rude
Always a fun spot. Menu features a lot of comfort foods. The pastrami Reuben was really top notch. Got the side chicken soup, also very good and homestyle. Hummus plate was very flavourful and shared between 4 people.
This is becoming a MUST DO on our trips to NYC. We can always count on good food and quick service. This is important if you are trying to get to a show on time or need a quick meal between shows if you're ambitious and taking on two shows in one day, as we did recently. Reservations are highly recommended, though.
Great food and wonderful service!
Our waitress Annie was just the best! She was the sweetest❤️ We had her several times. Loved the breakfast. Highly recommend! Sooo good
Outstanding love going here for breakfast ! Been three days in a row
Very crowded but that’s a diner for you! Will definitely return.
This place used to be a great option in Times Square. Has unfortunately gone really downhill in terms of food quality… evident further in this being one of the only reservations available in the area for pre-theatre dining.
I have lived in New York almost 50 years and go to the theater a lot. I never considered a "diner" in Times Square as a good choice for pre-theatre dinner, but peering in the window, it looked more upscale than the usual diner and decided to give it a try. A totally pleasant surprise in all respects: food, ambiance, service. Not a white tablecloth place, but well appointed, lots of cozy booths and terrific food. Only weakness was a very small wine list, although it was fairly priced.
Amazing food relaxing atmosphere really enjoyed the experience of this dining
Server was average at best, disinterested in our table. No milkshakes available.
Entrees arrived quick, dessert was a long wait and Diner was not even full.
Won’t hurry back
Great place friendly servers and comfort food highly recommend
Always good to come around while in NY.
Amazing cheesecake . Once again.
We booked because the website indicated on Friday and Saturday they had a musical revue. I even called and spoke to an individual at the restaurant to confirm. Well, there they stopped it, even though I had called within two weeks of arrival . The service was lackluster and they placed a cold bottle of white wine on the table. Would not go back.
Great food and service , lovely place to visit. So good we’ve booked again
A fun, festive spot for lunch or dinner, especially pre-theater. Excellent service, delicious food. A bit pricey, but highly recommended.
La atención, comida, presentación y precios estuvieron excelentes. Volveríamos sin dudarlo.
Great food and servuce
Great overall experience! Food snd service excellent!
Excellent service and excellent food
Good fabulous, service excellent
One of my favorite haunts when visiting NYC! So glad it has re-opened for service, and it was as fantastic as before the pandemic shutdown.
The smoked salmon bagel came with cream cheese, lettuce, tomsto, and onion. I ordered a side of bacon to add to the bagel and it did not disappoint. Service was excellent and very polite, friendly, and attentive. The entire menu majes it difficult to choose because everything on the menu is wonderful. Portions are generous and the price points are reasonable. Definitely make a reservation to dine here; walk-in diners usually are on a wait that can be lengthy.
We arrived 20 minutes before res and was complimented. Apparently more people run late. Seated immediately. Waiter was all business but ok. Chicken pot pie, house specialty, was huge, and rated 10/10 by my husband who managed to consume it entirely. My chicken burger was average, crisp salted fries, excellent. Would return.
We had brunch here. Service was impeccable and the hostesses, servers and bussing staff were all extremely friendly. Food was good and the fresh squared orange juice was delicious! Very convenient location if going to a Broadway show. Definitely recommend!
No chicken pot pie, no coconut cake, no turkey dinner. That's why I went there. No prep cooks I was told.
We arrived early for our reservation and were seated immediately at the table I requested. Service was prompt, professional and friendly. Chicken Pot Pie is one of our favorites and we were able to obtain 2 of the remaining 8 that were available. It's great to be back at the diner!!
PS: VERY DISSAPOINTED THAT THE COCONUT CAKE IS NOT OFFERED!
