   We went to Brass Onion for a work girl's night out. Food was good. Happy hour needs to run longer. Server was good albeit ever so slightly slow but not sure that was her fault. Would go again.

   Our favorite brunch spot. Michael and Christian at the bar are absolutely the best! I'm a huge eggs benedict fan but recently tried the Hot chicken and biscuits - and discovered a new favorite. Highly recommended!

   The server was very nice and doing the best she could. However, the kitchen was extremely slow and got a few things wrong. We were there for a 6:15 reservation and didn’t leave until almost 830. Some of the meals weren’t right. It’s was quite pricey too.

    Jayden was awesome, professional, friendly, and knows the menu. The 1/2 chicken braised, was okay, alittle underdone. The burnt end appetizer was good, that too, alittle underdone (or not charred enough). Table for two, we’ve been coming ever since the Brass Onion opened, with the original staff, mgmt, and chef. A lot has changed, some for the better, and some that still needs improvement. It was a nice date night, we both thank you all.

    We went recently for a late Sunday afternoon lunch, and they were surprisingly not as crowded as I have seen them in the past. Several of us ordered fried chicken, which has to be in the top 3 fried chicken places in the KC area. It did take a while to get our fresh chicken, and our drinks could have been filled a little faster, but the wait was worth it. Staff is always friendly, and if you are into adult beverages they have a decent selection of whiskey and cocktails. It is a bit on the pricey side, but a fantastic meal every time we go.

    Normally one would never provide a great review for a long wait on a meal...But the waiter and the manager wen out of their way to make up for the mistake with a complimentary meal and apology....Great Steak, twice baked taters and the brass onion dip was outstanding

    Unfortunately our food was awful. Last time we were there everything was excellent. There has been a drastic change. The appetizer was served with our entree and everything was cold and over salted. The “collard greens” was one massive leaf shoved in a tiny bowl with no seasoning. Very disappointing.     I don’t ever write reviews but this place slaps. I don’t mean to brag, but I’m somewhat of a cinnamon roll connoisseur. I mean it when I say this: the cinnamon rolls at The Brass Onion DUNK (think of that Vince Carter dunk in the Olympics over that 7 foot French guy) on any other cinnamon roll I’ve ever had. Usually I don’t like onions, but apparently I love brass onions. My main squeeze had some excellent fried chicken and side of gumbo. She said the gumbo was, *chefs kiss*, exquisite. I highly recommend this eatery. In the words of Arnold Schwarzenegger, “I’ll be back.”

    I was meeting a friend and was running really late,however the hostess that seated my friend was very attentive to her as. She waited for me,both she and I really appreciated that This was her first time visiting, I have been several times & had told her how exceptional the food was, both she and I really enjoyed our food and will be going again

    First visit . Food was good and service excellent. Had prime rib and husband had shrimp and grits both good! The ambience is very nice. Outdoor seating available with additional fire pit seating area to relax after dinner. Outdoor bands I believe on weekends in summer. We will return.

    The scallops were good, but could use some seasoning. The risotto was just okay and nothing special. The other folks in our party had short ribs and pork chops that were good. The service was mediocre. Half of the food came out and the other half took another 5 minutes. The steak was supposed to be rare and came out well done. They ended up remaking the the meal, but everyone was done eating by the time it came out 20 minutes later. They did not even offer a discount for the screw up. However, they offered a free desert which we declined. Overall, it was an okay experience and nothing worth going back to.

    We had a new server, first day without being a shadow, and she was wonderful. When she took a break, the manager took over for us. We had great service, good food, and fun drinks. We try to go here often and have always had a good experience.

    This was our 4th time to the restaurant. The service was terrible. The servers were unprofessional. And the food was not as good as it has been. We were very disappointed and wish we would of chosen another place to spend our Mother’s Day.

    Excellent fried chicken! We also had prime rib dinner, as well as the prime rib French Dip, imo the best French Dip in KC. Service was outstanding, very fun and energetic feel.

    The meal was decent. They forgot an order of fries and a side of sauce. My prime rib was cold. For the quality in the amount of time it took to get the food I feel it is really overpriced. The service was amazing. Our server was very attentive and friendly.
