Loved the ambiance, truly felt that you were eating in Italy, an intimate setting but you felt like you were sitting at your Grandmother's table.
The wine choices were unique as well as the food choices. Not a large menu, but to me that is good, you know the dishes are truly made fresh and from scratch.
I love everything about Terre. The ambience is warm and lovely, the service is incredibly kind and hospitable, and the food is always amazing. Terre is an absolute gem. It’s the perfect place to treat yourself with friends, or for a romantic date.
Excellent food, charming service
Wonderful ambiance and service. They make you feel like you’re the most special customers. Food is incredible.
We were a party of 4 and 3 out of the 4 ordered pasta dishes and were very satisfied. I ordered the cod - it needed to be re-heated. Also said it came with seasonal veggies but all it had was cauliflower. Wine was very good but pricey. Service was excellent. I would come again and stick with ordering pasta.
great atmosphere, great food, great service, amazing specials!
This was our second time visiting Terre. When friends mentioned they would be coming to visit for dinner, we knew this was the place we wanted to take them. Any occasion is a good excuse to dine here. The cheese / balsamic vinegar pairing sampler to start is a delicious and unique- a tasty conversation starter. All four of our pastas were distinct and delicious. You can't go wrong, here, the standards are great and the specials are just that- SPECIAL. Service is friendly, relaxed and charming. The backyard patio manages to be both intimate and lively.
By far some of the best Italian I have had. I am also gluten intolerant and they have the best pasta alternatives - I believe most are homemade! The pesto with shrimp is to die for as well as the cacio e Pepe. Though you can’t go wrong with anything that you order. Not only are the staff very welcoming, warm and engaging, they are very knowledgeable with the natural wines and strive to find the perfect one for you. I have been 3 times in the past 3 months and plan to go back many more times this year!
We had a great dinner with wonderful wine. We sat in the beautiful patio in the back. Can’t wait to go again.
We had Daniele the owner serve us for our dinner and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The food here is made with quality fresh ingredients that you can taste. You absolutely can’t skip out on the freshly made pasta. The black miso cod is also a must, but unfortunately our’s was slightly cold by the time it arrived at the table. Daniele patiently walked us through his impressive wine selections and had us try each option we were interested in before deciding on a bottle. This level of service is so hard to find in NYC - I truly felt like we were at Danielle’s house for dinner! This restaurant is an absolute gem in Park Slope and cannot be missed!
Great service!! Knowledgeable waiter! Friendly and thoughtful about allergy. Food was spectacular! Great spot for a date or small group of friends.
The pastas and wine were outstanding. Don't order the endive salad: 4 endive leaves on top of a pile of limp mesclun and some rancid pumpkin seeds. The outdoor space is charming.
This place is incredible. My boyfriend and I love Terre for special occasions and we love to bring our friends/family here when we can. The ambiance indoors + outside is magical. The food is outstanding. And the service! Bravo! These guys set an incredible standard for hospitality. Daniele was a superb server/host as always - the attention he gives you is so personal + genuine.
Great restaurant ! Food was superb , wine was great, not overpriced. Authentic and modern at the same time ! Waiters are amazing , you can tell the waiters are part of the restaurant family so they take ownership! Highly recommend !!
Had a wonderful dinner at Terre. Excellent wine list including a large amount of “Skin Contact” whites all available by the glass. I had the Venison Bolognese which was fantastic. My wife had the Gnocci dish with Burrata which was also wonderful. Had a wonderful conversation with the owner regarding food, wine and dessert. Highly recommended
The food was delicious, the wine was great but overpriced.
My favorite restaurant in all Brooklyn.
Great service and food as usual! Love this place!
The food, wine, and service are all fantastic, making for a fantastic and memorable dinner.
the most amazing meal, authentic italian food. Great wine selection. WONDERFUL service. They were so friendly and caring. and the space was so cozy. everything was perfect
Terre is a hidden gem in Brooklyn’s 5th Ave. It’s like traveling in time to an amazing local restaurant in Italy but BETTER! Definitely a must visit for everyone. Service and food are 10/10. For me, it definitely deserves a Michelin star.
Awesome date spot!
Fantastic restaurant. Loved the food, it was so fresh. My girlfriend and I loved everything about the place.
everything was great.
This place is such a gem in park slope. The best restaurant in Park Slope by far. The pastas are incredible. I only wish I found them sooner. My fiancé found them last year and we have been going ever since. Daniel and the crew are nothing short of amazing. I am Italian, so consider myself a fair judge of Italian food growing up with this cuisine and having traveled al through Italy as well. Please patronize and support this wonderful gem!
Amazing dinner and dessert
The food here is beyond amazing, and the ambiance is very cozy and romantic. I've been here three times now, and you can tell there's a ton of care put into every dish, and it's an authentic menu.
My only issue the past two times has been the service. The last time I visited they were clearly overbooked and maybe understaffed, so I can understand how they weren't at the top of their game. But this most recent visit was a bit frustrating in that our server disappeared after the second course, and clearly had forgotten to put in the order for our third course. We ended up waiting more than 45 minutes, despite being one of only three tables dining in.
I'll definitely eat there again, just hoping they can tighten up service a bit more.
One of the best dinners I’ve had in a long time. Excellent wine; simple, elegant food made with true craft and top quality ingredients. Warm, friendly, knowledgeable staff and cozy rustic ambience to round it out. Will definitely be back, and have already recommended to several people. If you like food, you will not be disappointed!
Everything was wonderful along with the wine recommendations.
The food was as good as ever, the wine even better. So glad they have survived the pandemic with no loss of quality or friendliness.
Terre was a disappointment. We had a reservation for 7:45 and were seated at 8:50–more than an hour later! We had been told to come at 8:15 to make sure our table outside would be available. But that still meant we were waiting more than 30 minutes. The whole point of making a reservation is to avoid this situation!! In fact, I don’t think I have ever experienced this in my life.
They knew they had messed up. They had expected another table to leave beforehand but guess what? If not a single table leaves within an hour, that is simply poor planning. We could have been seated inside but it’s pandemic times and we weren’t ready for indoor dining yet—and we had requested an outdoor table from the beginning.
So we finally sit down, absolutely famished, and they give us a glass of Prosecco on the house. Which was nice but we’re just too hungry to enjoy it. And there’s no free bread at this Italian restaurant—bread and olive oil is $13! The waiter pushes the special which was pasta in a lobster bisque with crabmeat. It sounded very good—and the flavors were nice but there was only a hint of crab in there—it was more of an appetizer than a main. All the food was slow to arrive. My girlfriend and I shared an appetizer (truffle burrata and prosciutto a.k.a regular burrata with an infinitesimal amount of truffle powder on top), the seafood pasta and octopus (which was good) and then had the world’s smallest tiramisu for dessert. I had asked whether what we ordered was going to be enough for two people and I was assured it was. I have never spent so much to be so hungry by the end of the meal.
The servers were polite and seemed to be sorry for everything. But there are three problems here: poor management of tables, a slow kitchen, and overpriced, small portions. The flavors themselves were good and the “orange” wine we had was very interesting. But until they address the three problems above, this restaurant will be unsatisfactory.
Great date night place in back garden. Super service and engaging team. Lovely wine and food. My only reason for not 5 stars is the place was packed. During covid reopening they need to be reduce capacity to 50% for now.
Amazing service and great food & wine
We had high expectations for Terre Pasta but were disappointed. We both went for a different special pasta dish. Stuffed gnocchi and fish carbonara. The gnocci was the better of the two. The fish carbonara was extremely salty and barely acceptable. We also had a bottle of the restaurant's equivalent to Prosecco. However, it wasn't as good as traditional Prosecco (it was actually sour do to the infusion of citrus). We blame ourselves for the wine choice, as I'm sure the restaurant has many better Italian wines to choose from.
Fantastic food (the pasta is amazing) and an impressive natural wine selection with warm and friendly service in a quaint, intimate setting. Felt like I was back in Italy.
The best natural wine selection; beautiful garden; wonderful owner and staff
great service. had specials that were good wine list is amazing. server even recommended some wines of the list! vibe is really nice bigger in the back then expected. only thing it is a bit pricey but worth the overall service!
The pasta was absolutely incredible, and we eat a lot of pasta. Our server was wonderful - friendly and very helpful with recommending wines. It's a little pricey but worth it. We can't wait to go back.
The food and service was amazing. Will definitely come back!
Great food, wine, and service. Beautiful ambiance inside and in the backyard. 10/10 would return
