   AMAZING food. Nice combination of flavors and textures. Fun cocktails, quality champagne. Great service! Loved the corn bread at the beginning of the meal. Tuna tartine was delicious. Oysters rock wasn’t super hot— but still good. Friendly, knowledgeable staff! Will be back!

   Although we had a reservation, we chose to sit at the bar where we could be at the window as well as watch the action in the bar itself. It was fun engaging with the bartenders when they weren't too busy.

   The shrimp/oyster poor boy was strange. The fried chicken thigh biscuit awkward to eat and the salad on the plate way too salty. The Bloody Mary tasted of straight horseradish. The food came to the table before our beverages since a large group in the bar ordered coffee just before our order was placed. Guess we just didn’t order the right things. The complimentary tiny bread was delicious. Disappointing experience

   The service is the best in Wilmington as is the food. We ordered the seafood tower. Now, it’s not just a tower of seafood as seen at other places. It is an experience! The tower arrived and the chef came out to detail each item. So many different items that you will not find anywhere but the Seabird! The staff is knowledgeable about every detail. They got above and beyond to see that your experience is superb. We will defiantly return here again and would travel here just to visit the Seabird!

   Was very excited to try Seabird. The ambiance and vibe of the restaurant is fantastic. However, I was very disappointed in the food, particularly with how expensive it is. We ordered the NC Fritto Misto, and the sauce was basically what you could get at any bar, and the breading on the fried seafood was essentially unexciting and detracted from the taste of the food. Not much flavor in the broth of the cioppino, and they play up this crispy crunchy bread, but drench it in a sauce and then have it sitting in the broth, leaving a disintegrating piece of bread. The fried smoked catfish was solid, though again, the breading they use at Seabird really lacks any seasoning, flavor, spice, etc. The grits were fantastic and the gumbo was tasty, though felt really small for a "gumbo" and lacked any bigger pieces of seafood I would expect. You can find the same food for a quarter of the price in many other places, though the ambiance was great -- beautiful restaurant. 2.5/5

    Seabird is incredible. The food, service, and ambience are all amazing. Highly recommend this spot. The seafood tower is the best I’ve ever had. A work of art.

    What a delightful surprise! We weren’t sure what to expect and are not oyster fans. We did enjoy the swordfish schnitzel and the root vegetable entree a lot. The small plates were also good. Perfect sized salmon toast and kale salad. Great flavors and well presented!

    It's been a few months since we've eaten at Seabird. My husband ordered the Cioppinno and the rest of our party had the fried catfish. My husband recollected a larger portion on our last visit. The catfish was good, but nothing to write home about. The oysters Rockefeller were delicious. The Gin and Tonic drink was excellent. Our hostess was also friendly and provided good service. Overall four stars.

    Oysters were perfect, good service and brunch had a lot of variety. My only complaint was there were two couples seated right beside us to possibly pack people in. Would rather wait and have some privacy because if one of the couples is super loud and annoying, it makes the meal not such a good experience.

    The server was excellent. The beet salad and the dessert and drinks were outstanding. The oyster Rockefeller was fair at best. Very small and all breadcrumb. I’m not sure if there was an oyster in it. The cioppino was disappointing. I’m not sure if I would go back.

    Great location. Wonderful, attentive staff. I don’t love sitting so close to other people that I can literally hear every word of their conversation and vice versa. They really should consider giving more than one little tiny piece of cornbread per person. It was delicious, but 2 little tiny pieces on a plate looks silly. The piece of fish on my seafood sciappino was not up to par. To me, it’s a one and done kind of place. The serving staff was awesome.

    Our favorite restaurant in Wilmington! Went there for dinner and brunch and both were amazing. Would highly recommend. Very creative menu with exceptional service and warm atmosphere. A true gem!!

    Colby, our server, was outstanding! The only complaint is that I tasted ammonia in the meal that I had (seafood), which was quite alarming. It was at the end of the meal, so I didn’t say anything, but it makes me question returning.

    There is something for everyone on the menu. Although it is primarily a seafood restaurant, there is a beef option and a vegetarian option on the menu. Oysters are a star on the menu with several types of raw oysters and three types of cooked oyster appetizers. We enjoyed raw oysters and the hollandaise baked oysters with crabmeat. The menu changes with the season and what is available. The smoked fried catfish over grits was delicious. Other guests enjoyed swordfish and the vegetable plate. Main dish portions are generous. There are also many small plate options and salads, too. We especially enjoyed the craft cocktails. The decor has a mid-century modern vibe. Reservations are recommended but walk-ins have the option of eating in the bar area. Highly recommend for a special occasion.

    The food was amazing but the service was absent. When we saw our server, he was friendly but he had tables outside and they seemed to be taking all of his attention. We had to hunt him down a couple of times, he didn’t check on us, and he didn’t inform me that my $3 Diet Coke would be another $3 for a refill! If you are serving soda from a bottle, bring me the bottle. If it is soda from a gun, shame on you for charging $3 for a 10 oz refill! $60 for brunch for two was steep!

    The food was excellent and we will definitely go back to try more menu options. The service was very slow- got seated 20 minutes after our reservation time and it took an additional 30 minutes for our appetizer to come out. We assume it was just a busy Friday night.

    My wife and I had such a wonderful experience at Seabird. The staff and the ambiance was absolutely incredible and very welcoming. We immediately felt at home and taken care of by our waitress, Mary. The chef staff was top notch as well and you can tell that they care about the food they serve. Each plate presented beautifully and tasted just as good. The flavor profiles were spot on! This place was so great that we already booked a reservation for brunch tomorrow (two days after dinner).

    Once again, we thoroughly enjoyed Sunday lunch at @Seabird! The catfish and grits were excellent and the braised oxtail empanadas were wonderful as well. Professional yet personable staff at every engagement, and warm the fairwell from the bar team while exiting made me want to turn around and have another meal. Well done.

    Food was absolutely delicious - particularly the barbecue oysters. Beautiful decor, our server was great (they were a tad slow on service but maybe because they were busy). We can’t wait to go back.
