Ottimo ristorante con piatti tradizionali eccellenti. I piatti in menù che vanno fuori dalla tradizione milanese sono stati meno apprezzati, ma solamente perché non incontravano il mio gusto. Per ogni piatti ordinato tutti gli ingredienti erano di ottima qualità. Accoglienza e servizio ottimi.

Ambiente riservato, un’isola di tranquillità nel centro di Milano. Servizio attento e piatti molto interessanti, sia i tradizionali come il risotto allo zafferano sia i dolci, delle vere e proprie opere d’arte. Ingredienti freschissimi sia carne che pesce. Abbiamo scelto questo ristorante per un compleanno molto intimo e devo dire siamo state benissimo mia sorella ed io. Non abbiamo potuto esplorare tutte le proposte ed i menù per via di un appuntamento di lavoro. Torneremo!

The service was amazing , but the place lacked atmosphere , probably as their were so few people dining . The Bistro downstairs however looked great , full and loud . I think if you like silence then give it a go !

We were seated in upstairs dining room at window table that was a bit too large for two people. Not intimate. Do not dine until after 8:30. We were by ourselves between 7:30 and 8:30. Downstairs vibrant scene; upstairs stodgy. My dinner was great; my wife’s pasta over cooked. Service excellent. Piano player had very limited repertoire: Lara’s Theme three times in two hours!

Very nice Italian food (although no big difference to the local, affordable ones) and great location within the Galleria Vittorio Emmanuele. However, it is very overpriced. For the amount of money you pay, the service could have been much better. The waiters looked away while you were talking to them or asked them a question, almost seeming unfocused/uninterested. We would recommend it for a romantic date-night rather than for a casual dinner, since the choices of great restaurants in Milan are huge and guaranteed as good as the Savini.

Came for dinner for our last night in Milan. Food was mediocre, super small portions, even when we asked if the kids pasta was supposed to be just a few spoonfulls. But then I guess it’s all about the name and location. Next time we wont fall for that. But definitely NOT a gourmet food, as we’ve been to other fancier gourmet Michellin star chef restaurants.

I took a few clients for a casual dinner near the Duomo (impromptu), but it turned out to be quite formal. Beautiful place, good food, and lots of nice extras from the chef. Our only issue was the price point. Open table shows 30-50 Euros per person, but each appetizer in the dining area upstairs was nearly 30 Euros. So be sure to check prices. They may be different in the cafe downstairs, or at lunch.

Plating and presentation was very good, taste was a little on the sweet side (for savory dishes). Service was polite but definitely there’s room for improvement in finesse for a fine dining experience. Spilt wine when pouring.

My wife and I went here on our last night in Milan. We found the restaurant on Open Table and found that the restaurant was actually fine dining rather than the business casual setting we expected. We were seated upstairs at a large table by a window with a nice view of the galleria. As expected for fine dining, the portions were small but of high quality and the service was very attentive. Dinner was slowly paced and we had an excellent time slowly working our way through dinner with a nice bottle of local wine. I would definitely return again but with a more realistic expectation of the restaurant than what is listed on Open Table.

One of my favourite restaurants in Milan, location to die for, eaten outside several times and actually went back the following day for lunch - Milan fashion week so people watching was even more fun than usual. On this occasion, we chose dinner in the more formal restaurant upstairs with our 18 month old daughter. Disappointingly, they didn’t have a functioning high chair and the dinner menu was limited to 4-5 choices per course vs the far more extensive menu downstairs. That said, for a romantic, special occasion was amazing. 2 x Bellinis mixed at the table, very attentive service, lovey ambience, highly recommended!

Don't confuse the upstairs Ristorante with the downstairs Caffe. On a Tuesday night in September, only a few tables in the restaurant were occupied, and nobody was playing the grand piano, which kept the room from feeling lively. But we were able, on only a few hours' notice, to get a lovely table by the window. By selecting the traditional menu, we didn't test the kitchen's creativity, but the service was excellent, as was the food. With one slight exception (out of eight), the wine pairings were very good. This was pricier than many other options in Milan, but comparable to what we pay for special-occasion dinners in D.C. at places that lack Savini's interesting history and cultural presence.

I have booked this place for a client meeting as it was in central Milan. The portions were really small. I have ordered a ravioli as starter and it came with 5 pieces of tiny ravioli. The lobster was ok. The food was in general average. My clients were not impressed with the food at all. The place is well decorated but doesn't have live music or a good ambient music. The only good thing about it was the service, the desert and the wine list which were excellent. Spent 700 Euros in 4 people. I went to another restaurant the day after and spent the same amount in 9 people, the food was superb, had live music (excellent pianist). I would not recommenced for food, only for sweets and wine.

The food was very good, tasty and colorful. The service was very quick. The view was very nice. While Waiting for what we have ordered, the Chef sent a lot of little presents for us like small starters. Overall was a very nice experience in the heart of Milan.
