Kennedy was amazing. Food was very good, and although we did not like the shrimp and grits and they said they would take it off the bill it was not. I think that was probably a misunderstanding. The club is the best club I’ve ever had and french fries are second to none. Oh my God, and do not forget to order their pistachio martini. Just saying! We will be back.

Don’t bother making a reservation because they won’t honor it. When I went to check in for my reservation, I was told I didn’t have one. The hostess just wasn’t paying attention and then she told me even though I had a reservation it would be a 30 to 45 minute wait. When I mentioned we had a concert and it was time sensitive She didn’t seem to care. The overall environment was rude and unwelcoming. We won’t be returning and if you have somewhere you need to be don’t make a reservation with Rex’s because it won’t matter. Not the night I was hoping for

While the food was very tasty, our server Carlyn was outstanding. She was well informed about the menu and knocked herself out to make our first visit special. We will return.

First time being there. Celebrating 43 years of marriage. Service and food was excellent. A young woman next to us was so very kind and paid a lot of our check! Staff gave us a free dessert. Huge slice of chocolate cake with ice cream!

This was our first time and we chose it based on the variety of options, reviews and nicer than casual dinner for a special occasion. The tables are so close together that every time someone walked by, 1 of our chairs was hit. Lots of people with tank tops and dudes with hats.. that was disappointing because I can go to other places for that and yes it was very loud but that’s not really unheard of . The food and service were great although we felt it was overpriced.

This was our first visit to Rex‘s on Mother’s Day for 2026. It was very crowded but the Service was able to keep up. The food was sometimes just OK.
