Perch is an intimate fine dining restaurant focusing on Canadian ingredients, ethical and sustainable products.
Awarded as the 4th Best New Canadian Restaurant 2022 by Enroute, Three diamonds by AAA and placing on Canada's 100 Best Restaurants 2023 and 2025. With the dining room facing into the wide open kitchen offering a nine course tasting menu and a bar focusing on unique cocktails and natural wines.

Nine Course tasting menu is $180 for food menu
Beverage Pairing is $100 per person (optional)
Non-Alcoholic Beverage Pairing is $100 per person (optional)

We release reservations 60 days in advance.

Our 9 course tasting menu is $180 per person. We suggest allowing 3 hours for your meal. We also offer a beverage pairing at an additional charge, we also have plenty of by the glass options for wine, beer, cocktails and non-alcoholic cocktails. The whole table must do the tasting menu, we do not offer an a la carte option. We are able to accommodate most dietary restrictions with 48 hours notice.

I went to Perch for my birthday with my boyfriend and it was so amazing. The staff were so sweet and had a card on the table when we entered wishing me Happy Birthday. All the courses were creative and delicious. The pacing of the meal was good and we left satisfied. I 10/10 recommend going to Perch at any time but especially for special occasions!

This was a true dining experience! At all levels! They nailed it! We were surprised on so many levels. The food is bold and imaginative and the wine/cocktail/sake pairing was fantastik! Impeccable service and special attentions not just for our anniversary, I mean, they care and it shows! I highly recommend Perch for a unique experience!

The 9 course tasting menu at Perch had some of the best bites I’ve had in the city. The service provided by staff was attentive, knowledgeable and made me feel like I was the most important person eating there — in an already busy room. I would highly recommend eating at Perch — you’ll be making memories for a lifetime!

Exceptional food. Every bite was one of the best bites I’ve ever eaten. Everything was so unique, creative, and unlike anything I’ve had before. Cocktails were great- balanced and flavourful. Service was quick and attentive.

Had a fantastic dinner last night. Loved having the kitchen right there, and getting to watch the team putting each course together. Enjoyed the warm ambiance, and the excellent staff kept everything moving. The food was delicious, with a couple of exceptional standouts (the Macaron, the Chawanmushi, and the Quail Beignet were personal favourites). Highly recommended, and will definitely return.

The food was very creative and excellent, with an obvious Canadian flair. The service was great. It feels a little more casual than some restaurants with this price tag but it was still very comfortable to eat in. Some of the small high end add-ons one usually sees in a restaurant at this price level were missing like an amuse-bouche, chocolates at the end, offerings of bread (there was one delicious slice at the beginning). We got the mixed drink pairing...some alcoholic, some not alcoholic which I have never seen before and we really appreciated because the full pairing is usually too much alcohol for us. The non-alcoholic drinks were very creative and wonderful creations in their own right. The alcoholic drinks were fantastic, although I wish they had chilled the wonderful Sake they served. If this restaurant was in New York or Miami it might need to strengthen a bit on its feel (although the food is on par with the best of those cities). However, it is a wonderful restaurant for Ottawa to have and people should try to support it if you can afford it. We have lots of pubs and chains but this restaurant is doing something very special.

We booked Perch for our parents’ 65th birthday as a surprise. Our parents are foodies that love to eat in good restaurants and Perch exceeded all expectations. A nine-course meal might seem a lot at first but it was perfectly balanced between the portion sizes and the time between each course. The music was great, the service was amazing. They sent us pictures of their food and we were eating with our eyes. Thank you Perch for offering a perfect dinner to our parents. I feel like they’re going to remember this a long time.
