Jessica was fantastic and the meal was great. My wife had a great Birthday dinner. Thank you all.
Celebrated a 60 yr. reunion with a nursing classmate. Tess our waitress was great, food and wine wonderful! A delightful lunch for a “special” time.
The best lunch to celebrate a dear friend's birthday! Our server, Quentin went above and beyond to help your make our dining experience exceptional. From the wonderful entrée recommendations to redoing an order on the halibut that was overcooked to the generous complimentary desserts he treated us, it was a memorable and delicious dining experience. We will be back!!
Great service, beautiful restaurant and most importantly delicious food!
Great ambiance. Attentive waiter. It was a nice date night for our anniversary.
Our server Tim was extraordinary.
fun atmosphere...food was above average. staff was great.
Great place for Lunch or Dinner. Food and Service was excellent.
Family birthday celebration fir my husband . Eric was our waiter
He was awesome . The table food and service were perfect . We will be Back . This was our first time back since Covid .
Quality is completely missing-food was barely edible and the service has slipped far below prior excellence. What happened to this place?
Our waiter ,
Chris P.,was a jewel. We had a great time along with great food and great ambience.
The waiter rushed us to order, the halibut was overcooked and tough. The slice of cake for desert was still frozen, they put it in the oven to warm it up and it came back small and looked like a glop of chocolate. The whole meal and experience was rushed.
Waitstaff was superb, food was excellent and the butter cake -Devine!
Paul Martin's disappoints. Why? The food was less than expected. My wife & I shared a tasty lettuce wedge salad divided in the kitchen which was appreciated. My wife's fried chicken dinner had one thumb sized piece of chicken breast & the balance was a drum stick, wings and a thigh. Perhaps the larger breast pieces were part of another chicken entre?
The half rack of St. Louis ribs arrived cut in half and stacked, 'over drenched' in BBQ sauce hiding a strip of fat masquerading as a rib. The ribs likely were prepared well in advance waiting for someone to place an order then heated up. The texture reminded me of beef short ribs, stewed for many hours and very soft. There would be no way a person would pick up a single rib to eat it. I may as well mention the coleslaw was dry and French fries presented less than crispy, as if they had spent too much time beneath a heat lamp. The 'warm yellow butter cake' was presented with fresh fruit and a scoop of ice cream. Likely the cake was prepared well ahead of time and heated up. Good, but does not compare to what several other restaurants serve. I believe the issues I've addressed and opinion I've furnished are fair. With attention to details I'm sure Paul Martin's would shine. I'll keep an eye on other folks reviews. For now, I cannot recommend this restaurant.
Food was awesome
Tom our server was excellent. We ordered the salmon and halibut meals with a chopped salad that we shared. The flavors were amazing and the pace of the meal was perfect! We were celebrating out 40th wedding anniversary. Thank you for making a great meal and memory for us.
It was a wait from time to time for our wait staff. However, it worked out fine for a leisurely meal in a nice atmosphere.
The server was very good, attentive and the food was out very quickly... nice surprise considering so many restaurants are struggling with staffing these days.
Birthday sun. The halibut was cooked perfectly but too much cream sauce on it. Our waiter was excellent.
We were there on 10/5 for a birthday. Service was good. We order 1 Hendricks and tonic, the Salt and Pepper Shrimp, the Short Rib entrée, and the Halibut entrée. The Hendricks and tonic was okay, but they did not bring the remainder of the Q tonic. We asked the wait person about this because we like to dilute the drink as we go. I asked if it was well tonic and he said it was Q but that they don't serve the individual bottles at the table. I told him they did last weekbwhen we were there for lunch..
He told us that there was a shortage on tonic water and that they are using the individual bottles for multiple drinks. There was no offer to bring us more tonic.
We were not offered bread for the table. The Salt and Pepper Shrimp was good, as expected. The portion on the short ribs was larger than usual. However, they were exceedingly leather dry and there wasn't enough if the gravy sauce and there was no horseradish sauce served with it. The Halibut was chewy and was not cooked correctly. I also think it was old or frozen and nor fresh. I did not enjoy it at all. We have been loyal customers but we are wondering if Paul Martins is cutting corners and sacrificing quality.
Hubby and I went here for the first time and really enjoyed it. Tip: the salt and pepper shrimp appetizer is to die for!!! We also enjoyed our entrees and desserts. Great date night spot.
Easy to make reservations, table was ready upon arrival, friendly staff and great service….
One of my favorite places to go. The atmosphere is so pleasant. The drinks are excellent, the food and service are always superb.
Great food and atmosphere. The service was excellent
Fried Chicken was dry and overcooked and the accompanying mashed potatoes were hard as a rock. Should have sent them both back.
Great food and service! Will go again! Love the location!
Very loud there last night. At one point we couldn't hear each other at our own table it was so loud! The waitress was marginal, probably due to the amount of people there and the noise. No reason to be snippy, but I get it. The food did not turn out like presented in the email regarding the Prime Rib Dinner Special. Was thin, small and marginal. Very uncomfortable evening.
Was disappointed in the salmon sandwich I had although I have had a lunch sandwich that was excellent. I couldn't eat the dressing that came with it so just assumed mayo or something else would be substituted, not so. My husband ordered the Prime Rib and know that it is difficult to serve warm but it was cool and more rare than he ordered and none of the fat on the edges was rendered at all but he ate it anyway cause he really wanted Prime rib. We have been there a handful of times and mostly
it's been good.
We went for the 3 course prime rib dinner. The service was great! The salad was a little soggy and the prime rib a little tough but flavorful. The dinner came with 2 desserts (chocolate cake) so we shared one and took home the other. The ambiance would’ve been better with less noise.
The ladies’ toilet was awful …. The Handicapped toilet had a sign on the handle telling people to knock as it couldn’t be locked. And the only other toilet was not flushing properly. My friend told our waiter and he said he’d pass the message on. But you don’t have enough toilet stalls - I would hate to be there on a busy night. The line could be out the door!
My party of four arrived at 7 PM and we weren't served our pre-dinner drink until 7:35 pm. Our salads were all served at the same time and were quite nice but our main courses were served with a gap between the four of us so that we had to wait maybe 10 minutes for all of us to eat at the same time. The waitress seemed more interested in talking to her fellow servers.
Our waitstaff was attentive and fun. Great food and excellent evening.
Really good food, great selection on menu, nice wine list & ambiance. Service was very good, non intrusive. We’ll go back.
Great place to dine
Ordered a filet done medium. First order came well done. Second try came very rare. Gave up after second try. Waited over 20 minutes to get water and cutlery. I found the noise level excessive.
Second bad experience here. This year on Mother's Day the service was marginal. Food arrived cold twice. The menu that day was limited which I understood. However, since the menu items were limited the items should have come hot. It was not that crowded when we were there so the experience was disappointing.
Still our favorite place to celebrate. Dinner was delicious and service was attentive.
Great food, wonderful server and happy hour is great so glad it is back. It was beautiful sitting outside.
The prime rib special was amazing. We really enjoyed the entire meal!
