   Primarily a 3-level sports bar. Secondarily, a restaurant. VERY noisy. Loud music, loud TV's hence loud talking. Cheese curds are delicious, service was excellent. Menu options are limited and burger was just OK. "Bacon" on burger was actually pork belly. Nice decor, but needs some tlc.

   While the service was good the food was not good. The bacon in the skillet breakfast was barely cooked and very rubbery. The dish lacked much flavor. The strips of bacon were not cooked properly either. Coffee was just lukewarm. The only thing that saved the meal was the soft pretzels. Also every other table got complimentary popcorn but not us.

   Great sports bar atmosphere (tends to be on the loud side, though). Food falls into the comfort food category, but tasted good. Cheese curds have a good ratio of cheese to fried breading (thin crispness that doesn't overpower the cheese). Service was great; very friendly and attentive staff!

   I've been to Oak Barrel several times before a Bucks game and never disappoints. Great variety of menu choices, drink selection and service is always attentive. I'll definitely be back.

    Awesome as always! The new drink menu is fantastic and the mac and cheese with pulled bacon is to die for. Can’t wait to be back in Milwaukee and dine in again. Must try! 10/10

    I have never been here before and I will definitely be coming back! The popcorn! Food! Drinks! And atmosphere! I also loved that I could hear my friends and not have to shout to talk. Also it was pretty clean!

    Charging a fee for cc use is ridiculous. Charging $.75 for a small cup of ranch is crazy. And I ordered 2 strawberry margaritas. They came as 2 different sizes but were charged the same price for both.

    Great first time experience. Would definitely go again. From great service and delicious food. Only thing I would change cook the burgers a little less. I get it though, food and customer safety. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

    Arrived around 11am was seated immediately, our drinks and Oak Barrell Signature Popcorn followed. I had the Oak Barrell Burger & Fries and The Temptation drink, my tummy was satisfied. Oh I did get some of the popcorn to go.

    The food was just OK. We ordered the Brussel sprouts appetizer and while the flavor was good, the sprouts were hard and not very crispy. Our entrees were good (the chicken Caeser wrap, the beef and cheese and the spicy chicken sandwich), the sides were not good. The kettle chips, cole slaw and fries were all very bland and the fries were mushy. I think they should work on improving their sides!

    My only complaint was the lack of paper menus to view. Only only way to see it was using phones which was inconvenient. Other then that it was a nice experience.

    Good bar food in the heart of Milwaukee in a very casual setting. The bacon fat popcorn is tasty but also sets the tone for the rest of your meal. Seems like a good hangover spot.

    We visited early for lunch on a not very busy day so it was a nice quiet lunch with friends and family. It was our first time here and we loved the decor and feel of the place. As I had read on other reviews they do have quite an extensive menu with some pretty enticing items, however, I'd say the food was OK nothing really stood out too much, pretty typical pub food, it was not bad at all but not what I had expected either. Our service was absolutely wonderful! Definitely give them a try if you are in the area, I think next time I visit I want to sit and enjoy some drinks at there bar and just some apps instead of a sit down lunch/dinner.

    Really a cool place to hang out and enjoy some food and drinks. We had a large party and were able to be seated right away. Large variety of specialty drinks and decent menu options.

    We had two salads with chicken. Chicken was cold (straight out of fridge) and tasted old. It was horrible! I’ve never had a salad with cold crumbled chicken on it. At other restaurants you get warm grilled chicken.

    Megan made the experience with beer choice and food .pizza on the table stand was a blast of favor . Table of 5 and we all enjoyed the food . Spicy italian pizza was too spicy but I went into a feeding fenciey and finished the whole thing .

    Food and service was very good, until the bill. Overcharged for the 12” pizza by $3 and the chicken mango sandwich by $2, and mac&cheese…. Crazy!! Prices on bill did not match menu online. No menus, look up per QR code, which is cool, but not to over charge customers.

    Our meal was ok. Disappointing that the only burgers are half pound. We were told they cannot make them smaller. Even a kid’s meal burger is a half pound! It was extremely loud for us ladies. It didn’t help that there was a very exciting basketball game on the TV. However the table of young men seated next to us were out of line with the noise level. They didn’t seem to care at all. Our server was wonderful!

    I treated my sons to dinner here on Saturday night and it is now our favorite restaurant in Wisconsin. We are bacon lovers so really enjoyed the Kentucky Fried Bacon, bacon pasta and pulled bacon tacos. Love the unique food and drink options. Our server was prompt and attentive and gave us good menu recommendations. We'll be dining there as often as we can!

    Cold outside but nice and comfy inside. Our server Skylar was super nice. Recommended a couple of items we all loved. My favorite was the breaded fried bacon. Soooooo tasty!!! Great atmosphere. Saw they were doing a take and back thanksgiving package for customers. Next year will definitely consider doing it since we’ll be in town.
