   Hidden gem! We came here on a Saturday around 11 am after realizing that several other local brunch spots had waits of over an hour. We were seated immediately on the patio outside but totally in the shade which was nice since it was a warm sunny day. The waitress couldn’t have been nicer and the food was great!! Highly recommend the breakfast burrito - it was fantastic (I got it with bacon egg and cheese per our waitresses recommendation!) When I asked if they had lattes, she said they only had coffee and cold brew but that the Rosemont Cafe next door did and to feel free to get one and bring it back to the table. Love that - supporting your neighbors!! I did get that latte and it was perfect! My son had the French toast plate which came with eggs - so a bit of both sweet and savory which is always nice. He got full before finishing his French toast so we all tried it and it was delicious! As the lunch menu was also available, my daughter ordered the fish tacos and said they were great! Will definitely put this restaurant on our “keepers” list for when we are in La Jolla each year!

    Our server, Eve, was phenomenal! We dined there tonight with a party of 10 which included 4 kids. Eve was on top of everything! The food was yummy and came out fast. I highly recommend Nautilus based on variety of food options, yummy drinks and excellent service!

    I use OpenTable to avoid places like this. There was no reservation needed and a sign to seat myself. It was a step up from a dive bar that served food. Don’t bother reserving a table on OpenTable and just walk in if you want to have dinner at a sports bar.

    A great neighborhood bar with great drinks, excellent food (had the pub burger and daughter had fish tacos), and nice waitresses. The fish tacos were better than most places in town and that says a lot. We will be back.

    We eat at Nautilus Tavern about once every two weeks. I was SUPER SAD to learn they are no longer serving GF buns. It is one of the few places I could count on to get a good burger. Also, we had lunch on Friday and the quality of the food was way down from usual. Hoping it was a one-off!

    We made reservations for our 1st experience at this restaurant. It was a birthday celebration. We walked up to hostess and mentioned we had reservations. Got the "deer in the headlights look". She asked indoor or outdoor. We wanted and told her indoor, she gave us outdoor. Waitress comes by and asked us what we wanted, and said we just sat down and and needed more time. Bad mistake. 15 minutes later she comes by again. Needless to say this was the pattern for the rest of the evening. Too bad cause the food was pretty good. But we will never return. I think they cater to locals more than some of us who drove from inland north county. FYI wentvto Rockies yogurt afterwards for the birthday desert.

    Our server was outstanding and the ambiance was perfect to celebrate our Water Polo’s team tournament win and watch NFL playoffs! As always, the food was great and the staff was great with our tween/teen boys and and parents—they did a fantastic job with 16 of us!

    More like a sports bar. Seems to be a restaurant that switches to a club at night. Very loud music. Fun if that’s what you are going for!

    The food was awful and over priced. I ordered nachos when it arrived the chips were all stale, the order was cold, the cheese was cheese sauce from a can. I would have been better off going to a high school football game and ordering nachos.

    So understaffed. There were people who were sitting at a table when we arrived who still hadn't been greeted when we got up and left. They were seating tables indoors. There was one server working and she was seating people too. Terrible

    We brought a large group of college kids for lunch and we had a good meal. The service was great. The drinks are excellent and well priced for the quality. I recommend it for a easy casual lunch.

    Service was sub parr and food just okay. It was the only resie we could get for Saturday night so we chanced it. It wasn't busy. Probably won't return to this one.

    Nice patio area. Cocktails were really good. Fish and chips were ok but my boyfriend got the ship tacos and those were great.
