   Took 3xs and a conversation with the manager to order a martini!!! Food was served very quickly, no time to talk.

You refused it and Andrea thought you wanted a Martini dry instead. i gather to learn that you wanted a Vodka Martini instead and i ensured you got a double vodka Martini on the house as our apology.    Myself and my sister booked with The Morrison for 'Fancy Pants' Afternoon Tea for my mother on Mother's Day, and it did not disappoint. We were lucky to be seated in the bright and airy 'terrace' area rather than the Grill area itself (which was a little busier) and it was such a lovely location (apart from the creepy 'Bird Man' statue behind us, which was slightly unnerving!). The food was outstanding - really tasty and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a bit of a hiccup, when a dish fell from a table behind us and cream splashed on to the back of my coat, but the staff were excellent at dealing with this, and offered to dry clean the coat (it wiped off so there was no need) and then gave us a complimentary glass of prosecco, which was incredibly kind and very good service! We had such a lovely time and would definitely recommend Afternoon Tea there. 5 Stars!

   As always myself and my family always have afternoon tea in the Morrison hotel for Mother’s Day. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The food as always was delicious €37 for gentleman tea which is mostly savoury and a glass of Prosecco instead of the beer.

   Good evening, we chose 8oz rib eye steak, the steak itself was beautiful but it certainly was not 8oz, I would have loved to have a weighing scales, I am quite certain that it was unweight, I spoke to Laura, the manager who assured us that it was 8oz, but I beg to differ, it was a minute steak, 8oz is basically 1/2IB, the steaks we got on our visit were certainly not 1/2IB. False advertising. Laura offered us a free side & dessert, but to be honest all we wanted was, to recieve what we had ordered, an 8OZ rib eye steak, The Morrison Hotel UNDER CUT THEIR STEAKS

    Amazing food very attentive staff. Place is spotless and such a lovely set up. Was seated at the window and was great to just watch everyone outside. The decor is amazing. Went into the bar after for a drink and the staff were all very nice.

    Honestly, the food was of the highest standard and the Chef deserves to receive this excellent feedback. Beef Carpaccio Dish for Starter was absolutely first class. Fillet Steak Dish for Main Course was absolutely first class. Well presented. Top quality food. Tasted fantastic. Good choice on the menu. Nice venue. Good atmosphere. There you go.

    Went for afternoon tea with a friend and had a great time: delicious food and the right amount to be stuffed at the end but not overwhelmed. The staff were genuinely friendly and there when we needed them without being overbearing, and nice relaxed atmosphere.

    It is an amazing place to enjoy with your family or friends, the staff is great, the environment is very sophisticated and the main courses are fantastic. Try the best duck breast ever there (main course). It is the perfect place to have a great dinner.

    Second time to the Morrison with my mum, teenage daughter, sis-in-law and teenage niece. Great selection to suit all tastes on the menu and reasonably priced. Food was delicious but the standout for us all once again was the wonderful service from everyone who served our table. We will definitely be back!

    The restaurant and staff were lovely. There were no complaints about the food, everyone loved their meals. The scallops were amazing. The only issue we had was that the music from the bar was turned up to extremely loud at around 9pm and while the loved the tunes, we honestly could barely hear each other speak at a table of 6. Our table was closest the bar and the music was blaring. It was turned up just after the WC football match ended to a level that was too high to hear anyone speak at our table so we were disappointed with that.
