                        My Mother’s Day plans were ruined. I was expecting to order from the normal menu and when we arrived at our reservation we were told that we we be forced to order from their Mother’s Day menu. And both moms my wife and my mom did not want the food on the Mother’s Day menu. I was very disappointed and we were unable to eat out as a family because there was nothing else available without a 3 hour wait

                        Booked a table for 1pm, we waited in line to check in after reserving a table ahead of time. Then we were told it could be an hour wait so we left. There were many people waiting ahead of us. Clearly they overbooked. Disappointed in Mimi's. Won't go again.

                        Horrible experience for Mothers Day. Reservations at 12:15. - seated at 1pm. Stopped full service meals at 12:30 and no other selection but Pre-fixe for very mediocre meal. Not enough service staff and the poor hostess no doubt prevented fist fights and a riot.!!

                        Mimi's is consistently ok, just about every time I visit. DO NOT VISIT on holidays and special events like Thanksgiving & Mother's Day. I have observed first hand on more than 3 occasions that there is 1 person, the unfortunate person who is left alone, with no assistance standing at the doors as people check-in with their reservations. Clearly they accept too many reservations than they can handle and the other problem is that they do not know how to handle facilitating these reservations. Consistently, the host (the person at the door) appears inundated with new people coming in for their reservations as well as trying to manage upset people congregating as a crowd in a small place getting more impatient that despite waiting for up to 45 minutes trying to understand how a reservation helped them in the first place. Further, the host, in an act of desperation, accepts people walking in with reservations in a way that supersedes the reservation system and its purpose. Despite the time of your reservation, you are placed as "next" on the list. I listened as people in front of me with a party of 9, 7, 11, and 4 check-in with the host but they had all showed up between 25 minutes and 50 minutes early. So, essentially 30 people jumped the line and pushed other people showing up on-time for their reservation waiting for more than an hour to get a table. Do you see the snowball effect here? To make matters worse, the host became unapproachable and defensive. 3 times for me indicates trying new restaurants with a new vision for handling people and new technology to handle reservations in a fair and honest way.

                        I gave it a 3 star due to over booking on Mother’s Day. It was chaotic and our seating time was 45 minutes after reservation time. The hostess was also cleaning tables, she was pleasant even tho she was overwhelmed. I never saw a manager check in with her. Patrons were very frustrated.

                        We went on Mother's Day and had reservations. The restaurant was very crowded and probably way over booked. It took waiting a half hour then getting high top seats in the bar area to be served. To get a regular table would have been another half hour. I don't recommend going to this restaurant on a holiday.

                        Our 10 am reservation wasn’t sat until 30+ mins late. The over all lack of communication to people waiting was disappointing. When we arrived the advised it would be 15 mins or if we didn’t want to wait just let them know. Since this was Mother’s Day finding another restaurant wasn’t an option. When we approached the podium to find out the status it was some more excuses and then we are getting ready to seat people. The food was good, and our service at the table was excellent but the sound was pretty loud. Would still go back but would advise the management to not throw your staff upfront with Jo back up get up there and help them out when you’ve gotten so far behind your making people wait 30-45 mins past their reservation time.

                        I made our reservation for Mothers Day 3 weeks in advance, sadly we arrived to total chaos. 8 of us crammed into two tables in the corner of the patio when we declined the offer to be seated at separate booths indoors. After waiting over 30 minutes for our drinks (only half were brought to the table) and over an hour for our food that arrived over cooked, and one of the dishes had a foreign object in it. Our server was overwhelmed and the lobby was packed while many tables sat empty. Very disappointing experience, we will not be visiting again.
