   What a fantastic find! We were in Dublin looking for a place to eat. Millstone was available on Open Table so we booked randomly. Food and service were amazing! What a great surprise! The salmon and lamb shank were outstanding! Dessert was the i ing on the cake! One of the best meals we had in Ireland!

   Beef & Guiness stew was outstanding as was the chicken. All the staff were pleasant and efficient. Reasonable prices for the large portions.

   There are two reasons why I did not give Millstone 5 stars: 1. We were six people at the table, two women and four men. The waitress decided to ask the men first about their orders before turning to the two women at the table. I find that disrespectful. 2. The space is very tight and, if you are seated at the end of the table, you can not leave unless the people next to you will rise and make space for you. Other than that, fast service and good food.

    Food and service were excellent. Only issue, we were upstairs and tables were very close together so hard to relax and hear each other comfortably.

    At first, all was good, as where we were seated was cold and they did move us. Then, I ordered chicken wings, my partner is a plain enough eater so she ordered bread, wings arrived no bread so we just said we’d leave it as my starter was finished , however out he came and said, it’s already been done by the chef and just popped it on the table. No apology or nothing. Their Coke zeros came out of can? You don’t get the full can they fill it and bring it out but charge ya €3.75 per soft drink and if you order another you get the end of the last can you paid for, to me this is disgraceful, same done with the bottled water. When bill came out I would of thought as a nice gesture they would knock the €2 bread off the bill, but no, chattered for it, become the chef made it, never mind it wasn’t brought out as a stater. My main meal (Lamb also arrived 5 mins before my partners) so i politely waited as my lane got colder.. the whole experience for a restaurant was just poor. They brought the bill and made sure we paid the (voluntarily service charge) never asked if I would like to pay it. I don’t complain much, nor did I on the evening which I should of, but I won’t be back.

    We had a really great meal at Millstone, outstanding service and so refreshing for staff to be so knowledgable on cealiac disease. Menu was great and food was amazing. Would definitely go back and recommend.

    Uncomfortably packed. Too many tables with no room between them. We were a table of 4 and we were placed so close to the couple next to us that I had to get up everytime they needed to leave their table or the waitress needed to get to their table!Was very annoying. The staff did move a table behind us to make more room when that party left but it was not soon enough. The food was great value but unfortunately very average. Side portion of chips was tiny. The staff were really lovely, couldn't fault them. Management need to sort out the tables/space issues as its very off putting

    Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und macht alles möglich damit man es so schön wie möglich hat. Wir hatten einen Platz für 5 Personen bekommen der an dem Durchgang war und dementsprechend luftig. Auf Nachfrage haben wir sofort einen anderen Tisch bekommen im ersten Stock, dieser war perfekt. Das Essen war großartig aber der Star des Abends waren die Cocktails. Sehr zu empfehlen der Pornstar Martini und der Whisky Sour. Vielen Dank an die Bartenderin. Der einzige Grund warum ich nicht komplett 5 Sterne gegeben habe liegt an der langen Wartezeit für den Hauptgang. Ja es war Freitag Abend und es ist nicht überraschend das es mal länger dauert aber bei allem Verständnis sind fast eine Stunde für Steaks dann doch etwas zu lange. Deswegen der Punkteabzug. Alles in allem eine tolle Erfahrung und weiter zu empfehlen. Danke an das gesamte Personal.

    The Restaurant was good. Nothing to special or fancy just a good irish/french Restaurant. I would recommend to try the lamp. :)

    Beautiful restaurant very efficient and pleasant staff. The steak was great value for money and delicious. I have been to the millstone on many of occasions and have never been disappointed. I hope to return very soon the lunch menu is excellent. I have recommended this restaurant to friends and family whom also enjoyed the experience.

    When booking online and just going of reviews it was a massive relief to find it was not right in the middle of Temple Bar, it’s just on the outskirts. The staff, the restaurant itself and the food was lovely. We would definitely book again if we was in Dublin.

    Decent food and a lovely looking restaurant but very rushed mains came almost immediately after starter plates and were collected. plate for mains was collected while I was still chewing my last mouthful. Then conversely we asked for dessert menu and it took 20 minutes to come

    Having been many times we booked a table at 6pm for a special occasion. The waiting staff were lovely, however we were more than disappointed. The tables are crammed in together. We were being pressed to leave despite no mention of that on arrival. No cheese and biscuits available. Really felt like we were on a conveyor belt. Millstone I'm afraid in your rush to look after tourists you are losing those who stood by you during the last few tears.. the locals. We won't be back

    Nice surroundings. Appeared to have more staff than clients but it was difficult to get their attention at times, and seemed to accumulate en mass around the diners (the restaurant is quite small) Food was delicious but could have a better dessert selection. Felt a little ' rushed ' in the end to free the table even though we were there under 90mins. Vaue good but written pressure to leave 'tip' when presented -not a great idea in my opinion. Go mid week if possible, totally better experience than weekend.
